Hi,
If you can get it for 100 it is probably fake! Be carefull, a lot of fakes around
I like sirocco better.....but luna has better and newer functions.

what is better nokia sirocco or the luna? i can get both brand new for £100 each

I work for Carphone Warehouse and have this phone and to tell the truth its good but im thinking of exchanging it for a 8800 sirocco only because its more expensive and not as many people have it, but otherwise this phone is pretty good but not amazing.

its not got 1G of storage its only 128mb
i live in manchester and there is no 1G available..so where did u get it from??

Oh my god you dropped it! I feel the pain. I almost dropped mine, my heart totally scrunched. It's pretty slippery so I try to keep it tucked somewhere safe in my carry pouch

Been using the LUNA for the past two weeks and its awesome, the screen totally walks over the SCIROCCO, both in size and resolution and photo's from just the basic 2MPX look awesome.. Battery life is a slight improvement though you'd only really aprechiate it if you switch on all the power saving options...
My only gripe is that phone charge point, micro-usb2 !!!
There arent any car chargers or even spare chargers out for this phone yet, so lucky for me, ive got a SCIROCCO as my backup phone if this one dies, but i hope they start supplying them soon, or else the LUNA will become a " GOING OUT PHONE " lol...
What is good though is that the new MOTOROLA RZRv8 and v9 will be using the exact same Micro-USB2 charge point so if nokia dont pull their fingers out, i'll be buying MOTO chargers...
Dropped it last nite - scratched the chin of the slide ;-(

I got this phone yesterday, the camera is amazing for just being 2mp, producing very clear & sharp pics from it -there is no point even trying it at night time though since the night mode is laughable & has no flash.
It would certainly seem to be scratch resistant as i've dropped it twice on concrete already &it's be absolutly perfect when i've picked it back up. It's a solid handset, black stainless steel all round the back & smoked glass on the front making it look really modern & chic.
This phone's capabilities are limited like all it's '8 series' predecessors but this model is truely breath taking to look at. It is at the end of the day a phone, it does it's job perfectly it makes &recieves calls with no problems. If you are looking for an amazing experience with a feature packed handset then i'd stay away from this... however if you are looking for one of the hottest fashion phones ever produced then this should be a strong contender for you...
I am thoroughly pleased all round with this handset & would give it 8/10.

Yo world now lisen up , me got this fone 2 days back , me usin this handset 4 making calls and receiving calls like mad , but fone's got nice bettery life and fone looks sexy on my hands too,nice and easy to use, no junk no fun,just simple and elegent fone this is my brother,.if u have look + attitude and u believe in style so go for it my man ..8600 rocks guyz me tellin u,.
now i got a go,. love nokia ,. live and let live and long live 8600,. dont do drugs., peace, .. yo , West Side ..

Hey Rizla, the phone I have right now shows 1000mg of free storage (unless this is a bug). But I have seen some with 128. Perhaps you are correct. I have checked with other ones lately and they too have 128Mb internal storage...odd.

I've had it for a day now, and the screen looks pretty scratch resistant to me. I wouldn't like to test that though! I'd reccommend everyone who gets this phone to use the slip leather magnetic case that comes with it. You'll only regret it if you don't and it slips out of your hands, as most things can do!

And yes it is exclusive to cpw for 6 weeks, I work in a phone shop in US but I also have a prototype and I also have a few friends along with myself have bought the phone from cpw from friends who live in London.

By the way, this phone is 1GB, I have it. I checked the available space and its 1GB. Not 128, 128 was the early developers prototype. I work in a phoneshop and I have the new one vs the prototype. Just to let you guys know.

what phoneshop do you work in? i have checked the phones, rechecked after your post and it is 128mb internal memory. i work in the carphone warehouse and weve had it nearly a week now...theyre not prototypes they are the final versions mate. and isnt the phone exclusive to cpw for 6 weeks?
