killa, 15 Jun 2011Apple should at least think about a price drop, considering... moreOf course there will be a price drop for the iPhone 4, but only when the next iPhone is released in few months! (Like always!) ;)

@Article: "Also, unlocked iPhones are in great demand worldwide and those markets which sell them are often out of stock, so they are definitely not doing it to get rid of old stock. One can only wonder then what took them so long to do this."
Firstly Apple made an exclusivity agreement with AT&T that's why unlocked phones could not be sold in US, but could be sold everywhere else in the world (if Apple accepted their country).
Secondly, what's up with the Futurama's "Out of stock" joke fot the EyePhone? :D
Of course they need to make room for the next iPhone!

If anything, the networks should be vying for your business, as you could very easily stick a competitor's SIM in the handset.

Apple has realized that its buyers market, because Samsung galaxy is doing so good, and there are so many quality smarphone that have come on Android, apple has to humble in selling their phones. Any ways, I will still prefer Android.

Apple won't be able to sell these iphones if they are just the same price as when it first came out. Stupid business trick.

Well, I would still prefer a Samsung Galaxy S-II.. Given the Android OS, Dual-Core processor, MUCH BETTER DISPLAY and almost the same design (which I never quite liked, but am okay with.)
But, my next purchase would be somewhere in Q4 of 2011 or early 2012. Just hope the next Apple has something rock-solid to compete against the Android OS.
It's like I'm a fan of Apple hardware quality and build, and also I think the "Status" of having an Apple HandPhone.
But, on the other hand, I like freedom of usability and really like the fact that Androids are Unlock-Lock-Jailbreak free.

Way to go still.. But surely not iPhone 4.
It's just a trailer of what is to come. :)

one month ago I bought iphone4 with AT & T service. Is there any chance that even for a fee AppleStore downloads I unlock? Is the dev team actually working on a total removal of the lock?

Apple is doing every thing to fight android back. iphone for verizon, and maybe an iphone for tmobile. Apple can't cope with the fast growing android market, the even started to copy some android apps. They did it to themselves. LONG LIVE ANDROID.
