Nothing from Android can beat Siri - not at the this time at least. I tried Speaktoit Assistant, but I am quiet disappointed. It's slow and clearly not quite on Siri level yet. It is:
        1. limited on what it can do
        2. limited on what it can understand
        3. can't work as well as Siri with foreign accent
        4. can't work as well as Siri in noisy environment
        5. too serious - too rigid - has no personality
        6. can't auto activate when I raise my phone to my ear...
Oh I can go on... the list is endless...

Maybe someday Google or other company will catch up. But at the moment, Siri is the only AI in the mobile phone.

I dont know why you fandroids come up everyday and say that how sgs2 is better than iphone and like why one should buy android and not iphone. The thing is that we are satisfied with our iphones and buy it coz it satisfies our needs and add cydia in it and you get anything you want and every thing you want .Even flash so if you like your android keep it to yourself

If Siri can handle accents (not languages, mind you, but the accents that different global nationalities speak English in), I'm well and truly sold. For example, if a Chinese guy living in the US, or an Indian guy, or an Armenian guy etc. were to buy the iPhone 4s, how well would Siri cope with their accents? It's a really impressive feature, otherwise (made so by the fact that it has an element of "AI" to it), but it would be all the more impressive if it could handle the many, different accents.

Perhaps using Siri on board a busy train or bus is not something I will consider but when I am lost and confused at a train station and embarassed to ask people the directions to take, maybe it can help. My only concern is that so far, the information and abilities it can access is maybe only limited to the US market and Siri may have problems recognizing other accents besides English and American. I know my Nokia voice assistant software repeatedly fails to recognize even when i say clearly someone's name as simple as Alex

Artificial Intelligence, integrated within a phone OS like Siri, is a first, no matter what you say. Please ask some intelligent Android fans, they will tell you the same.

Siri understands commands, understands context, strings tasks together coordinating multiple apps, something that no voice control app can do, as impressive as some of them are.

Google the subject, as most of the smarter Android fans are in general excited about the technology, and even say nice things, even the Android websites, only the haters are spewing this "its been here before" crap.

Just proved a point to all you apple fans that something like Siri was already out longtime.. Ohhh Siri its the only one with artificial intelligence, proved you wrong, yes speaktoit might not be up to Siri standards yet.. But it will be.

SO POINT MADE APPLE NOT THE FIRST..

And who cares about it being integrated into the os?
You probably don't even know what integrated means...

I control what goes into my phone Not Google.

Unlike you who has to take what apple gives you, which is iCrap.
