I bought an LG Optimus S Gray and it is my personal promise to never ever buy another LG product again. The phone has software problems -- no support from LG just ignored. The hardware is crap, hold the phone too tightly in your hand it activates things you don't want to activate. Phone memory is extremely low which limits access to apps. LG what a mistake. They forgot the customers now we will forget them. What goes up must come down. Text book case of how great companies fail poor customer service. This is what almost failed Sprint and Learjet until they revamped their customer service department. If LG doesn't change they will not be able to stop this free fall. Just watch the numbers folks.

Once a customer of LG never feels going for LG again is the case with many and me even, high end phones or smartphone customers are also not treated ontime with OS update, then how come company highly expect sales.
Later than never LG wake up and save your market and customers.

Maybe LG Needs to HUGG their Costumers TIGHT when it comes to OS Upgrade.. Samsung also got OS Updating Issues, then if LG Update their OS Faster than Samsung.. maybe their sales will grow up :)

Because they do not show respect and support to customers. Gingerbread has been released for almost one year ago and I can not see any firm update schedule for their mid-high (Optimus Black) and high end (2x, 3D) smart phones.

I bought the phone few month ago, the UI is su*k and lag i have to install a third party UI which is better and smoother. LG alway keep u waiting for software update and no ice cream to eat for optimus 2x. Oh my what a regard to have the phone. They have great phone but I think they have to buck up on their software development else they will loose out to competitor. For the next six month if nothing have change this will be the first and last LG phone I would own.

These idiots all they have to do is leave the stock android on the phones and update them as quick as possible instead of loading them down with crap.

People can use many different launchers out there.

The main and only reason for LG's mobile sales failure is the mismatch of the hardware and software of certain phone.

The LG's family of Optimus 2X, Optimus 3D and Optimus Black with turbo engines forced to run on low octane fuel.....what is the performance?

Buyers seek 2nd opinion and think thrice and will NOT purchase such a ridiculous item.

i'm a LG phone owner and to b frank, i'm not a wee bit surprised that LG sucked in the P&L report! my O2X looks quite good if u ask me, but apart from that, i'm still stucked at 2.2.2 which at the end of the day, i'll take a less good looking phone with GB inside! i'm using 2G to preserve battery, the screen leaks and there's those random restarts.... and this is supposed to b a flagship phone, ala S2 or Sensation! therefore, their phone business will always sucks bcuz unlike iOS, prompt os update is very important in droids! so, this will b my last LG phone, and i dont think i'm alone in this.... hence, no wonder their sales sucked!

Lg Optimus 3D. I had that phone for like a week and then sold it. Battery was the worst ever and software was not so good.

Majority of their smartphone portfolio is based on Android. Most of the android users keep in mind the OS updates which LG fails to keep it up with competitors. Most of their smartphones are still running crappy bullsh*t OS and they expect good sales.

Well LG is a good firm but when you want the best and not mid Range you go for Samsung or HTC. LG is more budget oriented. The Software update for LG Android is a mess compared to Samsung, and the Software Updates releases take a long time, but hardware wise LG is still a great Manufacturer

LG lines of mobile phone isn't bad, but isn't good either. Nothing's special, if I say. I'm not sure how to describe it.

I'm still using Optimus One. And my mother still using the old symbian KT610. Those are good LG phones, but nothing special..

Personally I want to upgrade to Optimus Black or O2X. However its current price, OS, specs (and issues) forced me to wait longer, in hope they will release a more worthy phone in near future.
Well, if they add ICS support for 02X and drop -100$ from its current price, I might reconsider it for christmas :)

Until then, there're so much better phone out there.. sorry LG.
