        Hi All
I did read all your comments, Its very nice to read but I think Wave is still one among the best phones in market, shows from all your comments if wave is not good why to speak about it.
I have use wave one and two will go for wave 3 as well to be honest.
App what’s the use when you can make and receive calls and text and more over in the other phone even if there are 10000 app still you will not end up installing all of them
I don't think speed is much concern as i am not using the phone as my computer nor using it to start a company.
I do agree that all the phone has one or other drawback and wave to has, there are many app for anroid but they consume memory even if your not using that app(app run automatically in background and need to kill it each time) why should the live of the phone needs to be fished.
Each phone is better in its own way and respect all of them as there are my ppl behind each phone, Its fun to keep speaking about negatives but if you can possible please redesign the BADA OS instead only speaking about

RejZoR, 29 Nov 2011Wave devices are great hardware side wise. However that isn... moreSad but true.

Still waiting for the right phone me, definitely not bada. Just the right size, thickness, and design. Nozomi, maybe.

S8500 will do for now. The alarm clock really sucks. Big time.

Bada applications are much more efficient in energy consumption than android because android is java based and it is big pig about using proseccor and memory. Bad ais C++ based and it use the minimum memory and processor as it need.

Bought S8500 UK sim free as soon as it came out. Excellent hardware and promising software. But, all this time on, and I still have not had one single update. Avoid Bada.

i absolutely love android software's biggest and the most annoying issue is the battery life on these phones!!
i don't know understand go fricking full size on the battery!! if the phone is 7inches? go 7inches on the battery!! not 3inches of the phone size!! which makes the battery life is so crap!!!

                      very annoying

BadaOS would be perfectly fine if Samsung put 1% more effort in it. But now they make absolute zero effort. I mean c'mon, how the hell you can't fix the god damn alarm clock for 1 year!? That's just pure ignorance or laziness. Or simply slowly evolve the OS like Chrome browser or well, Android itself. Less chances of major screwups and users get the confidence that you're actually doing something. Opposed to Bada which was released ages ago and you get feeling Samsung has completely forgotten about you. It's not a cool feeling when you pay 300+ EUR for a device that's essentially a very nice brick.

I also don't know why would Android OS went exclusive. Before Google had to source the device from Motorla, HTC or Samsung. Now they'll do it with their own mobile phones division. It will be their rules, their innovations and so on. Now they had to order such device from 3rd party vendor. Now they'll do it themself. That was the main reason they acquired Motorola Mobile division.

The Wave was enormous,it splashed through the mobile industry and left its everlasting trail. But that was then,Samsung's work was as good as done. The waves soon became the black sheep, abandoned by their own creator in favour of the more spoilt big boys, the galaxies. The waves would just watch as the 'more equal' boys got the best from mum and dad,new updates, versions and what not.The wave was doomed to remain with a single version of its outfit, bada 1.0 but along the way mum and dad felt there was need to hush the ever whining kid with a 'new' 1.2 outfit, just coated with new fabric to appear as new but sadly the old ugly, patches still lay within. As I write this, the wave is still huddled in a corner, sad and feeling disillusioned,as the more loved, spoilt galaxies flash their new wares for all to see. Thats the side life of being a wave, and a waver!

It's more than one day after this news of Wave 3 launch is published and there are only 38 comments as I write this. This disinterest in the launch of a major smartphone model is downright unusual. Most of the comments are from ex-users slamming bada. I think bada is in trouble.

Wave devices are great hardware side wise. However that isn't the main problem at all. Problem is software side. Lets compare it to its rival, Android.
Android required 2 years to go from version 1.6 to version 2.3. The differences and new features are massive. Bada needed 1 year to get from 1.0 to 1.2. We got basically zero new features and some really major problems like phone restarting in pocket even though screen is locked and alarm clock not going off on time never got fixed at all. It is now almost another 1 year after 1.2 and we still haven't got Bada 2.0. 2 years of agonizing wait for a freakin software update that doesn't arrive for ages and when it does, you'll be disappointed, guaranteed. Does Samsung have 1 monkey that's doing all the programming for everything to take so freakin long?
And the second problem are apps. There are some and some are ok. But 99% of apps are poor quality, pointless features and just plain rubbish. Phone is also severely limited as far as customizations goes compared to Android. Apps are strictly separated from the OS and because of that, they can hardly do anything. Security wise fine but feature wise it's almost worse than running apps on Symbian or Java phone... So when you draw a line, with Wave you just have a very advanced feature phone with shitty OS. Kind of pointless.

After missing the work because alarm clock didn't go off and when phone restarted in my pocket 3 times in 1 week. Then it drained entire battery in 3 hours and was so hot you could fry eggs on it. That day, i was so pissed i immediately went to shop and bought HTC Wildfire. It's crap HW specs wise, but software side is so so much better, i love it. With Cyanogen 7.1 its even better. And loads of pretty darn good apps for everything. I haven't touched my GT-S8500 since and i'm still waiting for the dumb Bada 2.0 that seems like it will never arrive so i can reconsider if i want to use Wave. If Samsung will continue this idiotic trend i can't do anything else but recommend possible buyers NOT to buy this nonsense phone. Because in the end you'll hate Samsung, yourself for wasting money and you won't be able to sell this crap when you find out its useless. You'll just end up with a very expensive backup phone like i did. So don't.
