Nokia sold it's soul to Microsoft.
The question is how do we make them reclaim it?
I hate Elop more than I hated Job's and that say's a lot.

I've heard that Voda Au for example are supposed to release their version of PR 1.1 late december, I personally couldn't wait so I did it myself a few days ago.
You might want to look into flashing your firmware with another set of AU firmware, if you're comfortable with the process that is.

Apple have 50 nokia patents.. so what does this tell you about nokia? Nokia is still more advanced than Apple in the hardware. Nokia's always pick up better signal than iphones. Nokia phones are also more stronger and dont break like iphones.

Now combine Nokia hardware with iOS5 software. It would be the best phone in the world. But this wll neer happen as they want customers to keep choosing different handsets to make more money. Its all about the money.. not the quality.. but the quantity of units sold..

worse ceo trying to act like hero (barfing...)
These r enough to hurt nokia's destiny... nokia will follow as their poor N9 abandon from their fans and customers.

AnonD-23267, 10 Dec 2011MeeGo is a full potent OS which is far more user friendly t... moreRight to the point!
Elop biggest mistake was thrown away also Meego, which
would have been huge potential. I bet N9 would been a big hit like Iphone, if Meego would had support in the future.
And what about N10 with Meego and upgraded features like 12 mpix camera from N8. I can only imagine, what kind of hype there would be about it.

There's nothing wrong to move on WP as itself, but
it shouldn't been to focus purely on that.

'm from Brazil, and unfortunately the Nokia had the courage to say, that will not sell N9 64GB of here ... they said, the cost of the device and very high ... This is absurd.

I can't say anything about Nokia's current bearings but I can say that you don't either - or are you just trolling?

Technically speaking, MeeGo Harmattan's defacto status isn't anymore "Under development" but that's because it's been completed. Now you wait for future revisions which are very much under development. That's the exact same case as Android's. Not that it shows ":D" but sure Google has more bull for Android. What's the relevance of any of this? Exactly.

Competition brings innovation. We wouldn't have the devices of today without it. Thusly, logical conclusion would be to appreciate competition.
