Sony sold its battery business to Murata due to financial problems and numerous law suits from DELL, HP, Toshiba etc for exploding Sony batterys.
Samsung recalled the Note7 quickly and gave full refunds/exchanges with great incentives.
Sony denied its exploding batterys for over 5 years. It took the UK and Dutch Govt's to force Sony to admit the truth. Do you want official links to prove all this ? or Google "exploding Sony batteries"

Thing with VAIO just as with BRAVIA and XPERIA is that you have to buy the flagship product in order to get the value. Yeah sounds weird that you have to pay top dollar to get the value but only on flagship products such as VAIO Z/Flip, BRAVIA Z/A series you get the latest and greatest with top of the line quality.

Its CPU is much weaker. It can do only 960fps HD, not Full HD.

If you are into shooting video this is the phone to get. Truth be told for that much money you can buy RX100 V as your compact shooter.

Some early notes on the softness of fine detail when Chris from Recombu looked at night shots and I agreed with him at the time. That seems to have been fixed with this update.
I simply can't imagine how you could possibly cram in more detail to the night shots this thing produces now. It's a frikkin' beast.
I hope that GSM review the camera POST update.
