AnonD-41119, 06 Feb 2012Samsung is cheating in India....they are giving 1.4gHz dual... more1.4GHz A9 is a better than 1.5GHz Snapdragon. Its unlocked here and hence costlier. The phone in the US is under a 2 year contract.

    I'm kinda torn.

If I do pick up this phone, it will not be under contract.

If the AT&T version with LTE breaks my grandfathered unlimited data plan,
I will definitely get the international version.

There is a huge difference between a manufactured product that was made to to sold in the markets and between outstanding must-have technology which was designed to meet the needs of the future. That's where Nokia stand for.

The following link will explain more in a bit more details

feez, 06 Feb 2012Why must it be different from other notes, even the specs...Because the international version doesn't support LTE.

More specifically, the Exynos chip set doesn't support LTE, which is why you see Samsung phones like the GSII (both variants) on AT&T sporting Snapdragon processors.

AnonD-41119, 06 Feb 2012Samsung is cheating in India....they are giving 1.4gHz dual... moreohh and one more thing, the dual 1.5GHz processor given in the AT&T version uses Qualcomm, where as the international version which is the one we get in India, is a Exynos one, which is superior than the Qualcomm one. the Exynos processor can also be successfully overclocked to 1.8GHz.

do your homework buddy, then talk.
