It's always funny that Nokia releases multiple colours at launch for their flagship phones, but it's somehow a huge deal for Apple to get more than a single colour out of their factories.

The "scratch-proof colour" idea, with coloured poly rather than paint, is brilliant. I'd still get a cyan rather than white, but damn it looks good while it's clean!

It's a bad practice from every phone manufacturer knowing that the exclusive White color would sold out faster than any other color.

I thought to buy N9 white. But since that White pearl wasn't available in market & I just couldn't wait but to buy the Black beauty.

    :(

I already loved the 800 design, and this makes me consider getting one even more.

I remember DC Shoes' "RGB" collection. They finished the job! Nokia, please take a note from DC and finish yours by making a yellow Lumia 800. Only the full CMYK palette will make me a happy camper. I might even consider a Lumia then, the yellow one of course.

Why get this limiting carbon copy of the Truely magnificent N9. I am wating for the White N9. Then il move to Android . So long my old time friend Symbian. Windows is a fancy looking candy, yet uterly tasteless.

I've been using mine for a month now. Talking bad about it just means you have never touched and you are a bit obtuse ...
the phone is super-fast and the OS, although simple to use, is packed with cool features like the people/me tile and its social media integration, the local scout, the bing image(ocr, qr code), bing music(integrated with zune)
it is not flawless (still missing skype,g+ integration) but certainly an option and a fresh take

You said that WP7 is Android/iOS killer. It is a joke? No real multitasking, awful copy/paste function and many-many bugs in usability.

Nokia fans are so fans. I have used Psion Netbook in 1999, I have used a lot of smartphones, I use Windows Phone 7.5 NOW. And I say you guys that wp7 functionality should be expanded for 300% before we can title this OS an Android killer. Android is real geek's platform, and Microsoft lost this market in race for iOS-like vision of smartphone.

A couple of things are certain, Lumia 800 is extremely fast, easy and stable.
The apps are running also just fine and almost perfectly every single one I have tested on mine.

Very good reception and even a child can mangae the phone without any hassle. Go for it if you want a phone with great contact integreation without never ever have any proble ms.

Nokia needs something big and beautiful to be released/announced at MWC to bring profits and sales back up. If the rumours are true about N8 successor being the last symbian then smartphones from Nokia need to be right up their with the competition. If WP is the future then Nokia are doing a good job but its a big risk looking at the market now. Nokia is a good brand and reliable and their designs are original which I like very much but until WP improves (UI and Apps) I don't see myself moving over to it anytime soon.
