It might be built on a newer technology and it may be possible it drains less energy than older processors. Software wise, it may be true that apps are just starting to use dual, not quad core, but I suppose this way developers are going to find a solution to "foresee" that a lot of cores will be available in the future :D

Should be an awesome phone. A couple points,

LCD has THE best display quality of the currently available technologies.

The only difference between capacitive and on screen buttons is that with capacitive your screen is always 4.7 inches and the buttons are always there. What exactly is the advantage of on screen buttons?

Nothing wrong with quad core. If the technology scares you, you can still purchase an original Razr off eBay.

I think the manufacturers are getting carried away. For what real practical reason does anyone want a battery sucking device - to play games, go get a real life for a change. Android is trying to play catch up with already existing hardware let alone optimising new hardware, and there is nothing new or innovative in Android. We are reaching the same problem Microsoft had not too many years ago when its relevancy was being questioned. Where is the next real leap in software? In addition the whole backbone infrastructure system is failing in many countries where irrelevant streaming is hogging bandwidth, and the whole mobile experience, and internet as a whole, is lacking. Are we really starting to go backwards?

they're bigger and bigger, but why? make the same size, but more powerful. this is progress. we do not need tablets, if we want, we'll buy someone. we need the same devices, but MODERN ONES. screen might be bigger, but size could be the same. less spaces above and below the screen! this is future! understand it, damn!
