The one in the middle and the one on the left look awesome! If the price is right I might get the middle one because I love the looks (apart from the logo). Best design imho.

There is a school of thought that believes these devices have become just a screen that connects us to the rest, therefor it doesnt need styling -

But I think Nokia has challeged this thinking in a good way

People, let's not miss the plot..... the opposition was doing it's BEST to head of the inevitable AVALANCHE of ANDROIDS. WITNESS "The RISE of the 'DROIDS!!" WE win...but in the scheme of things, the public is better served, As Seba, Anonymous, Apple_Sux ( ;) ), MobileMaster intimated, The Japanese are QUITE adept at engineering quality. Apple for SURE has every right to be afraid. So is the OTHER half of the Evil Axis, Microsoft. In a word.... ANDROID ROCKS ( oops 2 words )..

If those handsets are doing as good as NEC's desktop LCD displays in terms of RGB spectrum coverage then count me in as a potential buyer. I just hope NEC will start selling these in Europe.

Japanese electronic products are the best in the world, no doubt about that. If Japan is not in weak financial situation at the present moment, I doubt if they will bother to produce mobile phones for the global market. Just like their own top quality beef, we can taste them outside of japan for the first time ever (for now, only for Macau, China, but they will export to other selected countries around the world in the future).

More black squares. Samsung, LG, HTC, Motorola, iPhone... and now NEC. Is it really that hard to do something genuine? Only manufacturer who is trying is Nokia with Lumia series. And they got colors! Not just black.

My only problem with the first one is that it looks like the divide goes through the device so when you open it instead of having one big screen you will have two screens. Like the Sony model I would really love a device that was able to have a single screen that unfolded.

this is the reason why samsung decided not to introduce the galaxy s3 at MWC....

they were scouting and rushing things to apply the latest the japanese has too include in their line up....

samsung is a little bit scared of the Land of the Rising Sun's arrival...
