The galaxy Nexus, galaxy S II, Sensation 4G, Motorola Razr all beat the lumia devices, and the N8 when it comes to 3G cellular calls(making calls over a cell network), Websurfing over a 3G cellular data(browsing the web over 3g/4G), the only thing that the lumia devices and the N8 won when they surf the web over wifi.
The Lumia 800 and the Lumia 710 dies out within hours on a full charge, pretty pathetic.

Jumps in profits were made primarily due to the success of the galaxy note and galaxy S II lines, the TV segment has been dying, computers, cameras also drops in profits as smartphone sales eat away into those categories.
Microsoft has a monopoly on computers, where as Samsung doesn't? Microsoft also makes more off of android devices than they do from their 2% marketshare. Apple has more profit and cash does that mean they win Microsoft?
Nokia also doesn't just do cell phones, they also do GSM networking and gets royalty from companies that relies on GSM technology.
You can "try" and save face for your brand any way you spin it, Nokia devices are out dated, they only have success because Microsoft is literally throwing hundreds of millions of dollars towards it.

Nice. When (not if) Microsoft announces their quarterly earnings that are much much higher than Samsung's, does that mean they win?
