Anonymous, 23 Apr 2012samsung have to make good gpu in order to humiliate iphone ... moresamsung used ''mali gpu'' from ARM not samsung properery. while nvidia tegra 3 apple ax and samsung exynos basically an ARM cortex A9 cpu.

^_^, 23 Apr 2012When apple releases a new iphone superior than an android p... moreActually is the other way round.Every new droid phone is named as iphone killer and all droid fanboys start making fun of the iphone.I agree most of the droid phones got very nice hardware.But the irony is that all of the good games where u can expenrience the gpu performance of your phone are made for IOS.After serveral months when the developers gather money they port it for android and those games are mostly optimized to get the maximum of the iphone 4 not some droid phone with 16 cpu/gpu cores.

what a pitty that a smartphone doesn't end only at display,cpu,gpu. there are a lot of things that still matter after this specs: speaker volume,music quality and power through headphones,body's plastic quality and assembly firmness,unibody construction,gsm signal, photo-video quality, aftersales support,accesories. in all these departments samsung is failing

After a certain point this benchmark is useless and only used to hype otherwise mediocre products. Lets hope that the SGS3 has something more serious to offer.

When apple releases a new iphone superior than an android phone in terms of gpu and cpu, iFanboys will go crazy about it and say stuff like "eat that samsung-htc-sony fanboys iphone is the best!" But when Samsung beats iphone in terms cpu/gpu of specs, they'd go "what's the need of extra cores? useless 4 cores, bla bla bla..."

Android is way too fragmented for S3's Graphic card to have some dedicated games.
So it doesn't matter what GPU has.

Why the need for that much cpu speed? For what? Facebook and Angry Birds? Instead of CPU power, they should focus more on power consumption instead.
