Help me out... why it is all important? A rhetorical question.

I hope this phone comes with ICS instead of Gingerbread (or worse Froyo) because T-Mobile will abandon everyone with old firmware as they did with the T859 aka Samsung Galaxy S "Vibrant". STILL STUCK WITH FROYO!

I think the fact that the resolution divided by DPI figures results in the dimensions of a 5.3" screen is be almost as telling as the build number.

I have owned the Samsung Galaxy Note, with T-Mobile as my provider, for several months now. So its already available, just not through T-Mobile directly, but from independent dealers, offering the same T-Mobile packages. You only have to look for it.

It's too bad Samsung doesn't offer an unlocked penta-band version of there devices. US Carrier customization makes most devices have unreasonable recurring cost. Example: Forcing a user to pay a monthly fee for mobile hotspot usage. I was forced to dump T-mobile's original galaxy S, Vibrant, as mass USB storage was disabled without an obvious method of activation.

ps large screened touch screen phone are the future. screen aspect ration will increase to allow widescreen viewing with controls on either side of video. I view a 7" screen with aspect ratio greater than 2 as the ideal mobile phone.

First with an actual worthwhile comment.

Found out about this on Tmonews a few days ago and yes I am excited and hopefully it is the Note and is coming soon. I'll upgrade to this device while I wait on some Tizen devices
