@xera if you want to configure your LED notification, just download Light Flow, for fully customizable LED flashing (or not), and colors. Great little app.

Things I would have liked to see in the SGS3:
- Much better battery life
- Better quality loud speaker
- FM Transmitter
- Dedicated camera button
- Configurable blinking LED for alerts
- Easy access to SD card (eject out the side)
- Better quality home button
I would have even liked to see those features in my S2 :) Thanks

All Samsung products are made from cheap plastics and hopeless battery lifespan and worst unrealiable motherboards. To Samsung why bother to play 'Hide and Seek' strategy to try entising the market. The smart ones will go for iPhone or Blackberry, at least there aren't cheap plastics and unrealiable OS like Androids.

apple you say...i mean you are talking about a company who stands noway near to samsung when it comes to specifications and sales...samsung has got a handset for almost every possible range unlike apple whose even outdated model is priced at rs. 18000...just going by brand value won't nullify the fact that today samsung is the top smartphone selling company

Yes, those "Plastic Toys" ate selling OK aren't they though?! And unlike your brand of choice, they actually listening to their customers rather dictate to them. I owned from the first until .there .4. When they unveiled the 4S,I was so disgusted I bought an S2 the next day. Best thing I ever did. You can keep your walled garden, titchy screen, idiot proof O S and lack of choice, Ill take open any day of the week,I stay with Android and cutting edge tech thank you. Add for plastic toys, the new Galaxy will be ceramic, so there goes another reason to ditch Apple...

samsung is all plastic, breaks in 1 year, got my iphone over 1 year and works still very good, the memory is nearly full still works fine, on the samsung when the memory is full u have to wait one hour till its downloading the media, just have some friends with samsung nothing else than problems, samsung sells alot of phones because it got more models, iphone got one model and sell nearly the same hhahahahahhaahah so if apple had more models it would sell even more hahahahaha

I laughed when I finally realized what those blue and white blobs in the pic represent - a water resistant nano-coating similar to the htc one x. Why a water repellent surface you may ask?? Because so many warranty claims were being denied as a result of water damage, that it was making samsung's products look even more pathetic than they already were. Let's see if the sgs3 is any more scratch resistant than htc's One range.

> In reply to PK @ 2012-04-27 20:59 from 4TBb - click to readto all talking about brand value, apple is no.8 in 2011, way ahead of samsung. apple uses components from a lot of suppliers, not just samsung...if anyone even follows the news / history at all....korean companies like samsung, lg benefit from japanese technologies when many tech ppl left to work in korea in 70s, 80s....fast forward, it is still adopting a fast follower strategy in copying / adapting / modifying...the japanese, koreans took decades....apple only really started since 2007 to be way ahead of them.......i would choose a samsung TV over apple TV but will never buy a samsung phone over iphone....

Also Samsung provides a lot of components for crApple products, which means that they must be quality. I have an iphone, so does my girlfriend. We both hate it, and plan on getting the Galaxy S Triple.

You must be dumb. one needn't be a fanboy or 'innovative' to call a Samsung Galaxy phone UGLY....
Nokia, Apple, Sony and HTC phones ALL look better than the cheap Sammy plastic toys.
