got the blue one on order and doing the maths, im going to say it will take four plus weeks .. re-casing , rechecking, shipping controls, distance of shipping.. 6 weeks seems more realistic for us in UK ...

And as if its apple fanboys spreading disinformation, grow the hell up.

I personally think that Samsung were overwhelmed by the pre order figure. So they hit the panic button. Which I think is quite ridiculous. In short they never had full faith in their marketing strategy,so there projected figures were some way short.

just to let you know, as someone with direct info about this subject, I can tell you
THERE IS NO delay in UK market (not a single day)
these false news does not apply to UK, while it might have effected other part of the world for the release,
S3 will transformed the smart phone market,
and sadly some apple fans spreading lies, because they can't face the truth!
in less than two days time you all know!

Been using the gs3 all day and it's amazing.Fast fluid and the best screen ever.Makes the one x look cheap.Pleased I saved my money and bought this bad boy well worth the wait and hype.Build quality is better then I first thought and the whole design is brilliant.

I m playing with this beautifull handset and we are allowed to sell it after 7pm BST at phones4u.phones4u customers are getting this beauty tomorrow as we promised them.if some one wants to get this fone than they should go to any phones4u shop which is open till 9pm like trafford centre.

White GS3 available in Tesco Phone Shops accross the country, from tomorrow morning. Can confirm that Blue variant has been delayed in the UK until further notice.

Just come off the phone to carphone warehouse after I received a txt from them asking me to ring up. (I was in first 1000 so got the Tab) They are swapping blue's to whites and it wont affect your "free" gift status. All the blue's have been recalled up to a 4 week wait on them.

Look I know I said it felt flimsy, looked ugly and the whole nature inspired noises and animations are....well...the politest way to say it would be "an acquired taste" but you cant argue with the numbers. A lot of peeps out there must like it, but my guess is that this handset will get more protective cases sold then just about any other phone, especially the sort that alter its apperance? Samsung must license its design to quite a few case manufacturers so theyll make cash no matter how it looks.
I must say though that although I'm not as excited about the SIII as much as a lot of peeps out there it is making me look forward to what the other guys have in store.
Apple have got 5 or so months to perhaps out-tweak the SIII(Dont be haters, we cant deny the popularity of the fruit and besides all you androids out there, the wise love thier enemies because its your enemy who makes you who you are, and with all the patent cases out there thats never been more true for either side lol)
HTC have a good track record of bringing out more powerful tuned up versions of thier popular handsets to compete with the market without confusing the users with way too many variations on the same theme(Sorry samsung).
And Nokia may just be able to hang on, the operating system may not be so popular in the uk but the 800 and the 900 are both brilliantly designed.
And back to Samsung they are prob going to bring out variant after variant of the SIII to try and tap those people who they couldnt get the first time round.
At the end of the day, even though I'm not a massive fan and you may not agree with me, we've all got to acknowledge its a great time to be a geek, a fanboy, or a consumer whatever your personal choice. :)
