Until batteries start lasting two days of heavy usage, I will not replace my smartphone. I don't like having to constantly check that my phone is fully charged before I go out or planning ahead, even when I have hardly used it.

...also, I have no illusions about this being done for the user's benefit; they have a word for this, and it's "publicity stunt". "Longest battery life" (also being hard to define exactly) is not going to get you on the first page; "Thinnest phone" will.

I'd prefer battery life any day over thinness.

I'll take larger battery over slimmer phone any day, as long as its 11mm thick max. Max comfortable thickness also depends on phone's width and height, but generally (for me) its still comfortable at 60mm width and 11mm thickness.

The thickness is of no matters.. If you don't have a decent battery life and a decent camera, then we all forgot the purpose of the phone: to make calls ( if no battery -> no calls). And regardind the camera, it will be useless if only a tiny sensor is added in there, not everyone is a stupid 13 year old that takes photos for facebook.

Phones need a good combination of battery life AND slim design - especially when going larger than 4.5inch screen.
Though if your going larger screen then make the battery longer & thinner so still retain a higher (good) capacity.

Under 8mm is good. Under 7mm is great. 6.2mm is amazing

Battery has priority in my mind. Function over form. The longer you can use something, the happier you feel about it.

                    Looks promising! :)

If ZTE can do this, so can everyone else.

Will most likely be going a Krait powered One XL, but looking forward to the Q3/Q4 releases this year where the A15 chips will start making it out

if phones get any thinner, snapping them in half will become a real concern.
