Have you ever bought apps from t... moreYes I have, and there is something call lite version give you the chance to have more info about the apps before buying it also you have the consumers feedback and reviews which could be more than enough for the normal consumer to decide,,, I made the point clear Rooting/Flashing is not official for no one can force it as an option so if u answered my question billion time as long it’s the answer will not lead to official action it will be eliminated (Rooting/Flashing) is not the answer for all Android users but as you just said “You asked about official ICS once and I told you what I know” hey you can’t always win with big companies that give you a phone and make a piece of history with a year,,, as I said before I had Android phones and im familiar with Android market and yes its has a lot of apps some of them familiar and similar to iOS apps but lets not fool ourselves here the rest is junk and its logic what do U expect from an open source anyone can load whatever they create whether good or not/useful or junk

Anonymous, 04 Jun 2012so buying Android phone with average of 1 or 2 updates not ... moreAndroid allows to manufature devices with various h/w platforms, that i see as a plus. i get to seee multiple devices every year. buy it or not, its upto the user.
iOS on the other hand , sticks with old school. One apple has multiple devices (at least like WP and with diff h/w) then they will understand how and when a device can be updated. or else it like asking iphone 4s and iphone4 to sprint and declare that Apple Won the race.

Single Phone per year, update the o/s without the h/w change and claim that they get every update. Sorry but, iph 3GS with 600 mhz CPU can run iOS 5.1, so does iPH 4 with 1ghz CPU and the 4S with dual core. how should we imply - apple cheating with the hefty price ? OR iOS update so minor?

and why cant the user chose to roll back to ios 4.0.3 from 5.1?

Anonymous, 04 Jun 2012so buying Android phone with average of 1 or 2 updates not ... moreFirst off that does make Siri an update. Siri is an OS integrated update. Second please. It's already been proven that Apple has already released one major OS update that was no more than a couple lines of coding changed, probably to knock out a hack, and litterally callled a made OS update. Everyone was non to the wiser of course. Of mention how it was not til the 3rd Iphone and over 2 years later that MMS was integrated into what was supposedly the smartest phone. The difference between Android and IOS is that IOS is jail celled, hence having to jail break. It doesn't have to multi task or do anything Android can do out of box. Of course SOMETIMES IOS runs smoother. It's easier to stand in one place and do something rather do many smart things at once. How is buying it somehow knowing it's no good in a year if it's going to get at least two major updates? The difference is that major.

Whatchasay, 03 Jun 2012If you think the iPhone is the biggest scam on the world th... moreNo. It's more Apple fans than all others bringing up numbers. Let me ask you. Where is the function, the integration, the user experience. You need to come out of your bubble. It's a huge socially acceptable scam, because people live in scams left and right. This is one of the huge punch to the face ones and people act like it's something beautiful. And no if you want to count sales then you count who has more users. :) More people buy Android. More people buy Iphone because Iphone is the only choice for IOS. In the real world that's te fact's and that's how it works. =) LOLOL

Anonymous, 03 Jun 2012Im sure Google would do the best for their consumers, let m... moreYes I have. What's to say? Have you ever bought apps from the IOS store? Have you ever made store purchases online? It's just simply buying and receiving. I do like have a few minutes to decide if I like it. Though sometimes a little more time would be nice.
How do I assume a lot for others?? I never assumed anything. I've used a lot of other phones to personally and briefly and made many studies and also know much from friends and family sharing experiences. HTC was never the best for me, Touchwiz was not always the coolest things around, but you don't have to keep it. Samsung definitely is far from worst liked or not. And rooting and overclocking hummingbird and exynos :) makes happy people. You asked about official ICS once and I told you what I know. I don't know ALL their reasons for not. I infact gave you the perfect answer for what I could. Phone is most powerful of it's time and with good roms does 1080p video and it great or can run ICS very well. What more do you want me to tell you?
Weither you want to believe or refuse to believe does not stop many people from buying apps. You don't have to root to side load apps. People still buy apps, non rooted, rooted, and rommed. People develope for Android too. The market is not some joke.

Joshua, 04 Jun 2012According to me there has been no major change in the iphon... moreso buying Android phone with average of 1 or 2 updates not necessarily to be upgrade is the option given to Android users Why would i buy a Phone and i know in advance less than a year my phone will be a history i mean look at ICS released back in Nov_11 and after 7 months the companies start rolling the upgrade and not for all the phones just for specific who meets the hardware requirements and know they talking about Android 5 jellybeans (I’m not sure what’s the name) and only God knows what’s the hardware requirements for this upgrade,,, further more back to SE phones for any consumer has Arc or Neo or Play they will have only one upgrade 2.3 which is out of the box and as you agree with ICS SE didn’t deliver what consumers expecting,,, and regarding iPhone first Siri is not upgrade Siri is an App but they integrated within the iOS instead of display it as icon on homescreen not to mention the iCloud and iTunes WifiSync and iMessage i know the homescreen look the same but if you were iPhone user from the iPhone 3GS till now u would notice the difference

                  have nice day

On the otherside android has changed a lot. There are so many new features added on every release & it definitely needs a better RAM to perform with the new softwares. And if you talk abt SE devices, the Xperia series cannot perform well with gingerbread & it will become worse after a ICS upgrade. I think it is just a desperate attempt from SE to show people that they care for their old phones. But i dont think the update to ICS really performs!

Touchwiz does need lot of RAM and Samsung's proprietary drivers for Audio/video camera require more Ram.

The Galaxy S is a great phone, it did miracles for Samsung as well as Andorid. I prefer samsung stepping back in rolling out the official ICS rather than release and spoiling it.

                                  Yes, android does have Pocket.

But, I can sense the pain in shifting platforms. All the investment cant be reused. I rekcon the devs of the apps that are in common, should give the compatibility for free - minimum charge.

Got new samsung S2, getting too much temperature and some time stuck and restart, replaced by company with new one. I returned black and they give me while handset. "Quality Service" when returned black due to fault means I purchased black color so give me same.

now second one same problem getting temperature hot near camera area. I use skype using wifi now it turns of and don't restart unlesss power on again. using other brands phones even using mobile data don't do such things.
