if sumone thinks its below apple,s iphone sale then he or she is mad bcoz samsung has various beautifull cellphone to use on like the famous GALAXY SII , GALAXY NOTE , GALAXY TAB which has various sizes what does iphone have just four verious models of iphone thats a crap thing iphone 2g , 3g , 3gs , 4g , 4s and there ipads such few models to offer thats why there sales are high they only have one new cellphone to sale on while the other brands samsung , nokia , sony , sonyericsson and l.g have differet varieties to offer and sale i dnt knw why some annoying guys love iphone , iphone has bluetooth bt do not share with other brand of cellphone jst only sharing iphone to iphone thats its 1st drawback 2nd u cannot use fully or completey the o.s of iphone without jailbreaking it thats a big crap i dont why still people love it , iphone still have the smallest screen as compare to its competiters the big one is SAMSUNG GALAXY S3 , now the android lovers just be clam not to shout on the iphone lovers bcoz soon they came to know the reality whos the best o.s in the world ..............

Apple have a very simples business plan which is to introduce a very few models, make the hype go crazy, keep it simple and bank roll :D. HTC was going in the right step with its One line of phones, but now there is a gold, desire C, Evo, one XL and its just going down hill. Samsung has 100 Galaxy phones, but clearly we see that alot of there smartphone sells come from the higher-end of the market.

I just don't understand why people 'associate' themselves with a brand... you're obviously loyal to Apple - but why one earth should it be 'good' or 'beneficial' to you that Apple makes more profit (I doubt either of us can afford shares!) - it makes no sense! (obviously you want them to keep being in business - but surely you can see that they rip-off consumers and take advantage of workers in some of the poorest countries to the hilt)
I had a Sammy GS2 for a year, loved it, decided to swap it for an Xperia Play for 6 months, just to try the controller and the emulators (fantastic) now I'm looking to get something else... Maybe a Nexus, maybe a Sony Mint when it comes out... it means I get full choice of products, regardless of manufacturer...
My issue with Apple is that they don't innovate.. in Steve Jobs' own words "we steal other people's ideas and improve on them..." - and they do it well... but they drip-feed features every year

In terms of technology, Samsung's the best! In terms of sales, Apple Inc. is the best! iPhone technology is not up to the Android standards. Windows Phone 7 OS seems promising enough. It would be great if Microsoft implement Windows 7 PC OS into Smartphones

I thought about that too, but I don't think that a single Android phone like that would match the iPhone. The strength of Android is not in the specs or the openness of the software, regardless of what the diehards say, but in the variety of phones available. With or without keyboards, large, medium and small screens, price range, etc. If there were a single high end phone then that would put it and the iPhone in a much less crowded field. If that were to happen, then I think that the iPhone's ecosystem and brand reputation alone would make it still come out on top. Unless of course there was a price advantage. Does anyone have yearly sales numbers for the high end phones of Samsung, HTC, Sony and Moto? If we add them up that might give us a good indication of where the market might have been. But then again, those companies' phones all have diffrent specs, availiability, sizes, etc. So it would just be an extremely crude comparison at best.

But lets not forget that there really isnt another company that can output the hardware to the quality and speed that apple demand as we saw with them dropping LG for making screens for the iPad. So both companies need each other.

They're taking your money too. People are willing to pay for a product with a quality ecosystem, stability and user experience. That's how business works. You give a company your money for a product you want. Every time you buy something, some company goes to the bank with your money.

IF the S2 was the only high end phone of 2011 I'm sure it would have sells figures much closer to the iPhone

Then they want to change the subject and talk about who is the "real deal." The real deal makes the real money.
