I have own HTC sensation and Samsung Galaxy SII, and I prefer HTC because it is truly a multitask phone, you can be on a call and take pictures and send them using any program, Samsung does not allows to take pictures during a call, another feature is that when using tethering on Samsung, it shuts all your phone's data, so the person who is receiving internet has data, but you do not, with HTC you can share internel as well as use it on your phone's applications. in my opinion I will wait to get the HTC One XXL or the HTC Zeta

When is the estimated release date for this phone....better be 2012? Especially since the Galaxy S3 already has the quad core and LTE capabilities.

they must think about improving the battery life. we need the better battery that combined with a motherboard but its charged by out sides from the phone or even inside the phone. the better way of imroving the phone charge to creates plug and play batteries that look like a flash disk. so we'd be able to use more then one battery for a phone.

This phone looks nice on paper, but most probably HTC only teasing in hope you not buying S3. When they build the fashion accessories like One X, They have nothing to offer than rumors.
Sorry HTC.This phone should be already on the market!

More RAM and more core means better performance and better multitasking. More core means task are shared between the cores which helps the cpu stay cool by not using the full speed of the core or it wont overload easily. Also more ram means, u can flash new os in future which will require more ram. Galaxy S did not get official ICS update because it has only 512 mb ram not sufficient when touch wiz UI is added to ICS.

Its good to have more ram and good cpu and gpu because u can do lots of things with good spec phone. I do my C and C++ home work on my phone on the go using dosbox.

I would say that they should make phones with more ram, more core with lower speed, good gpu and good display. Example, galaxy Ace 2.

honest, 23 Jun 2012we are running extremely fast. we don't want Quad core phon... moreSame argument during the early days of computers, who needs more than 256MB of RAM? But then again, programs get better graphics, more functionality and consumes more memory over time, whether you like it or not. You can stick to your 1MB RAM phone, and watch other people use newer apps, or you can simply but a low end Nokia and use it purely for calls and SMS.

An almost credible rumor if not for this; http://focustaiwan.tw/ShowNews/WebNews_Detail.aspx?Type=aALL&ID=201206120034 Partners HTC especially might wanna sharpen their quad MSM8960 designs first before even thinking about placing newer orders. TSMC right now are struggling to get the current dual S4s off the gate for all affected orders. Why did HTC pulled the One S 1.7Ghz S3 variant stunt? It's an unfortunate move for both HTC and hopeful One S Asia Pac fans but now you know.

I don't see any prob/acceptable excuse for excluding larger and more capable 2k plus or 3300mAh batt pack. Remember that this rumor contains a newer Adreno chip. If Moto can do it with their lower sales number then surely HTC are more capable. It's just a matter of greed on hardware profit margins.

I hope that this XXL comes out off the oven. In phablet size.

To the guy saying about a better battery should be made. small powerful batteries exist, they are used in portable medical units, but to use the technology in phones would add minimum 5x the price on a phone. Would you pay that just to charge your phone less? I don't think so.
