we are running extremely fast. we don't want Quad core phones. we want stable phone. who runs heavy application on the phones! seriusly will you ever use the 2GB RAM or will you ever use the Quad core powers. never n ever. yes you will be using when it's infected by viruses.
    1 GB is enough.

Extra speed is hardly relevent. It is like the old intel days of decades ago and of course superior software and better design chips won the day. Just fix the existing problems like the camera which was last in the shootout. There is absolutely no reason for more hardware speed when Android and apps are simpley not up to speed design wise. Google should stop the spyware to start with and make Android safe for business which it certainly is not at the moment. Games you say - go out there and get a life man.

HTC release this beast to Global market. Please don't repeat the case like,
HTC Evo 4g LTE, a very good flagship restricted to US market only, releasing the dumb One X globally.(according to the GSM Arena HTC Evo 4G review)

Any word on the battery? It would be awesome if they gave it a bigger battery as well.

And why exactly does a phone need quad-core?! Install a CPU measure app and have it open next time you use your phone, you will be surprised to see that a phone does not even need dual-core, not even close. But of course they need new "rip-off baits" to make the uneducated specsheet fanboys to buy a new phone every year.

hi i have two htc one x, white and gray,
one is UK Vodafone unlock another operator free unlock.
there is no WiFi issue. but before the update battery life was not sufficient. now going well, we wish to htc go ahead and make hi performance phone with proper battery life but don't make the display more than 4.3"
                  its some tuff to handle.

i hope that they'll put a micro sd slot or at least an alternative for a huge memory like 64GB, coz pc-like processing with 16gb is just a pitty!

The S4 Pro MSM8960T is more likely since the 'Q' SoC's do not have built in modems.

If this is true, this is brilliant news. However, going by past releases, this one shouldn't come for a while yet.

I hope HTC will release this phone and not only teasing the public. The ONE X is nice souvenir but not a working phone.

i remember that alot of people saw that coming because HTC is always doing that. users wrote that here at gsmarena! the flagships where nothing but the beta-versions of the upcoming flagships which will hit the market 4 months after the beta-versions with alot of improvments.

charching 600 euros or US$ for a phone which was publicated as the flagship, while it was a beta only leads to frustrated users. that might be one reason, even if it is not the only one, because HTC is loseing alot of marketshares to the big players - and alot of money.

I hope they will change the design of their antenna. I have an htc sensation with beats and signal is not good since the antenna design is in the backcover of the units casing.
                                  The signal is not satisfactory.

Consumers play games and browse the internet on the go which is why they want a smartphone.Putting a quad core inside a phone gives people a better experience doing all that! Nobody wants to play Angry Birds with lag and a terrible display.

Sammie & HTC greatly devalue their flagships because they come out w/a new flagship every few months. They create buyer's remorse. I hate to think that I plopped down big bucks for a flagship and in a few months, it's offered for free on contract. This is why iPhones hold their value.
