You can buy them in Indonesia for Rp5,500,000 say USD 583. The are all unlocked so why so expensive elsewhere.

        $699!?

Hahah! This is what's happening. Nokia knows that nobody will buy their outdated junk, nobody except for the last few hardcore diehard fans, who will pay anything, so why not rip them off?

Instead of rewarding their fans, Nokia as usual rips them off.

If you buy this phone at that price, you are not a fan, you are not crazy, you're just an idiot!

Nokia, should go ahead and raise the price to $1699. Their fans will pay.

$699? Is Nokia kidding? That amount will get me the latest and mightiest of phones and change! Hoping photography fanatics didn't read this.

Latest symbian isnt that bad..though it lacks juicy apps like in an iOS and Android..but for a moderate user who needs basic things with a great battery backup..symbian is still best in comparison to other OS..

actually what people don't understand and continuously complain about pureview being in symbian phone is that windows os dont support pureview technology, and nokia had already prepared their device so they had no other option but to give it to symbian. So its not nokia's fault!! Now when the technology is developped, windows phone 8 will definitely include its support for pureview. So consider this pureview more like a prototype device and not any android or iphone killer.

i'd rather wait 4 a windows 8 phone from Nokia with Pureview, even if it has lesser megapixels. that way i'd get the best in hardware, looks, and technology, as well as support.

WP8 Lumia (or whatever cones next) with PureView for me. I actually like Symbian, but since the current Lumias aren't getting WP8, I'll have to update my phone anyway. May as well wait and get the ultimate convergence device!
