Optimus 2x and SGII are almost made on same time, but when O2x have 2.3 gingerbred SGII will have 4.1.1 JB

Its actually good that galaxy S did not get ICS update. I officially installed Android 4.0.4 on my Xperia Ray and now it is screwed up big time. Every time I try to install any app from Google Play it gives "Package File Is Invalid" Error . I haven't rooted or modified my phone in any way , just upgraded to ICS officially.
Many other users are also facing the same problem after upgrading.
