Sony Japan has already announced free check up and repair of Xperia Tablet S. Also you can check the announcement for UK and USA here:http://androidflock.blogspot.in/2012/10/xperia-tablet-s-sales-suspended-due-to.html.
One more thing: Sony is quite quick and so we expect the sales resuming quikcly. Anyone has any idea?

Sony makes camera modules for iPhone 4S, 5 and Galaxy S II and III. Good for taking pictures in low-light condition. They should make cameraphones with smartphone features as well, better than the one in Nokia pv 808. SE Satio used to be one of the almighty 12MP Shooters in the past and now they are not. They should make one cameraphone like Nokia pv 808

i think samsung makes the best plastic phones.. better quality than sony or htc or apple.. Ya i agree sony still makes the best led tvs but samsung share is bigger.. samsung is a copycat but a good one.. if you want proof look at the galaxy series or look at the xperia series.

Sony will make a great wave in mobile industry, just wait and see!
And not to mention, Sony make innovation and true brand experience!
Not like Samsung, trying hard, second grade copycat!

Sony has never learnt from the past mistake!!!!!!!
They failed to understand or choose to ignore what consumers' must have features!
Sony used to be trends setter in the past but now they are just follower or copycat.
As the music/movie company, they cant even make a killer mp3/4 player. Why Sony player does not support Lossless such as FLAC and APE????
Will Sony survive for next 3 years?????

That ranking that you are mentioning is nothing to do with best company or worst...it have to do with the most valueble company...apple sells a lot of overpriced equpments, gets the most 2nd value prize....samsung sells the most various equpments in the hole world, their ranking is 9th and so on...SONY is very good, has great quality designs and care a lot for the costumers. There's a lot of motives for they not to be on the top ranking but still being top quality brand...their marketing strattegy bacame very poor and late...also their UI is elegant but came very late! But one thing that others don't have is respect...they detected the problem and the discernement of withdraw the device from the market without upseting the consumers. Good move SONY ;)

Samsung is the new Sony. Samsung is what Sony was. Sony is the past and Samsung is the future and present. Sony can never even come close to Samsung in quality, sales and innovation. Good bye Sony and hello Samsung. Sony doesn't even earn in 4 years what Samsung earns in one quarter. The only place where you will find Sony is in the joke section. Please Sony stop making consumer products so that 1% of your fans can finally move on to better brands like Samsung and LG.

There are too many "so many"....
In order to save Sony, streamline the product portfolio, simplify organization structure, out source the manufacturing and focus on RnD and Marketing.
Sony also needs to forget the success in the past and focus on future.

Can somebody please tell me why Sony is not no.1 in any of the segments if they are sooo good? Apple is no.2 and Samsung is no.9 in global ranking but where Sony? It's no.1? No. It's no.5? No. It's no.15? No. It's no.40? Yes. Samsung has officially killed the Sony brand. Samsung has become huge and I don't think Sony can do anything now no matter what anybody says. Sorry Sony ur late.
