I was hoping for a Xperia Play 2 or Xperia Play HD, But I guess that ship has sailed when the day Sony bought out Ericsson's Share in Sony Ericsson.

The information about the powered Snapdragon S4 play chipset with a single core and Adreno 200 seems pretty misleading, the original Snapdragon S4 play have dual-core 1GHz processor and Adreno 203 GPU wich it's better than the mentioned above. Just check the Qualcomm website in the snapdragon chipset version.

If Odin is the next flagship phone by Sony, I would love to see having a 4.7" or 4.8" full-HD screen, 32GB internal memory with expandale micro-SD card up to 64GB, 2GB of RAM, 1.7 quad-core S4 Pro, removable battery, 13 or 16megapixel camera with the latest Exmor-RS lens, between 7-8mm thick, lightweight, running JB out of the box, Bravia Engine2, enhanced Timescape UI

As well as the Walkman line.
I know Sony is not Sony Ericsson, but Cybershot and Walkman are their own brands, as well as Play Station, so it looks promissing.
Another Play Station phone (with this I mean a Xperia PLAY sequel) in the future would be awesome too, as well as some walkmans

But built in Scandinavia, why would the Japanese name a phone after a Scandinavian god? I would understand if Ericsson (From Sweden, right?) was involved but that is not the case here. It's almost a blasphemy.

spirit, 08 Oct 2012samsung or should i say crapsung's every phone is somehow g... moreI dont have a problem with tha galaxy naming, its like Galaxy is a brand name for all Android phones from Samsung, just like Xperia is the name for Android fones from Sony and Optimus for LG droids, no difference, just that Samsung is the biggest of them and naturally have more available models in the Galaxy series.
You may also have noticed that Samsungs Windows8 series are all called Ativ, theres really nothing wrong about that, is it?

Its likely Odin was in the Norse religion already 2000 years ago, i can promise you the ancient Norwegians did NOT invent Final Fantasy. A japanese did, a few thousand years later, and the japanese does not even look much like norse vikings do they?

For that that sill means if I want the best smartphone I will choose Samsung or Apple and if I want the best cameraphone I choose the Nokia 808.

"Sony Xperia V" is a cool name when not so many siblings around (T,TX,TL,J,GX,S,P,U). I guess I love them the most when they name their phones like arc, play, ray, active, mini, sola, go, etc.
Apple naming system is also interesting, they launched the latest model namely "iPhone 5" which is actually the 6th instalment of the iPhone. (iPhone, iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone5)
