I totally agree with you man! I used to love my iphone 4 because it was the best for a long time, now my One X is already bested by the plus. Im still in school so to have everyone say, "aw youre phone is old, have you seen the HTC One X Plus?" I hate HTC's business side. The phone itself, when i have space on my phone, is very good. I find it runs smoothly enough for my liking, yet still not as fast as my iPhone 4. I love the screen though as it is gorgeous for watching movies, youtube videos, music videos and playing HD games like Beach Buggy Blitz and Reckless Racing HD! I also like the sond qality on the phone and the camera. Although lots of high quality pictures take up lots of space so the lack of an SD card slot is seriously hurting their sales.

the problem is not in their product,it's the way they market them, they should put billboards for their phones in almost every where, shit Samsung even has commercials in Iraq, every fucking where,I just did't see any HTC commercials since the sensation xl and xe,and HTC chacha, people will buy their products,,,,IF THE KNOW THEM!!!in fact i knew about this company via internet, but not ALL have interests in phone stuff,so they just see commercial of them,(not in HTC's case)other then that, their products are the best,,,

why HTC is loosing because of their services, htc is still using outdated processors in mid range mobiles (upto 25k). Ok if htc have to stand in market then they must go for good processors and care services. Putting lot of money and getting a shit is just a waste of money and time. the situation could be override if htc goes for good inbulit hardwares.

Kernekraft, 10 Oct 2012It's their own fault. I used to be a happy HTC owner, but ... moreI don't know whats going on in your mind but the GS3 doesn't have Jelly bean and project butter either. HTC annouced Jelly bean for october, so you have like what.. half a month? Do you really need google now right now? And who cares if you have a "flagship" phone? Even if the One X isn't flagship anymore, it's still specd better than 90% of phones out there, iphone 5 included. Go and enjoy your iphone buddy.

                It's their own fault.
I used to be a happy HTC owner, but after two major repair on my Evo3D I almost switched to an iPhone, but then decided to give Samsung a chance.

After my SGS2 died on me, I figured I'd give HTC one more chance and got the One X, their so called flag ship phone. Am I happy? Heck no... I'm getting an iPhone in December, I'm finally fed up with HTC and tired of mediocre Android phones.

The camera in the OneX is great, awesome, I don't even mind the built in battery and unexpendable 32 GB RAM.

BUT.... It's been 4 months since Android 4.1 came out, and I'm still waiting to get it on my phone. And Android still isn't as smooth, flawless or stable as it should be. How come my quad core HTC isn't as smooth as a dual core or single core iOS product?

I could probably live with all of that, if it wasn't for HTC returning to their old tricks, and releasing 2 or 3 different flagships in a year.
(Silly me, I actually believed them when they said that they'll release fewer phones)

Now part of the joy of getting a flagship, and part of the reason for getting one, is that you have the BEST. You have the absolute top model for a while. It's a nice feeling. And now, a couple of months after I got my One X, HTC is releasing the One X Plus (or whatever it'll be called in their asinine naming scheme)

With an iPhone, you get to have their flagship for a year and a half or two years. Heck, even Samsung gives you a whole year to enjoy owning their flagship. HTC? You'll be lucky to have their flagship for six months before they stick a slightly faster CPU and more RAM in it, add a "Plus" or "XL" sticker to it, and call it their new premium phone.

Screw you HTC, I'm getting an iPhone!

If the s2 wasnt as good im not sure as many would of cared about the s3. When there are many great devices its down to other factors which influence peoples buying habits

Yawnnnnn....boring HTC handset, all looks the same + ever since you change to non-swappable battery in the One series I stopped looking at your handset....bad idea copied from a rotten fruit. if you want to copy something good like Samsung's Spen. Really Dumb idea to change to non-changeable battery.
Little wonder you are losing market share Johnny!

Still HD2 owner, 09 Oct 2012I still use a 2+ year old HTC HD2 with ICS and love it, but... moreYes. Downfall comes from most of the one x series have no sdcard slot and removable battery..

Back in the days HD2 is one of the best hardware phone HTC ever built.. but they stay there with the 1ghz no internal memory .. for a very very long time and charging ppl premium for it.. while other smart phone company like samsung caught up.

Despite dirty comments that I hear in this forum about HTC, I must say it is good to degenerate that a new generation may come. HTC will drastically rise like a fallen giant with handsets that are totally different from the one we used to own. I'm behind U from South Africa no matter what.Rise HTC Rise

I still use a 2+ year old HTC HD2 with ICS and love it, but HTC lost me with no sdcard slot on their latest HTC One phone. What are they trying to do? Be another iPhone? There's iPhone for that. They should really quit trying to mimic others' success and be an innovator. They were with HD2 when it first came out, but couldn't impress me ever since. Waiting for Note 2 to come out on Tmobile, then unfortunately it's goodbye HTC.... :(

My Android experience was started on HTC ..from Desire ..n i loved it from the first day ...anyways
HTC; i love it for its simplistic and mature designs, durability and uniqueness ..though heard reliability has gown down these days.
anyways, Pakistan is one of the countries which has huge tendencies for Mobile Companies only if they bothered. Here people go crazy on new releases and try every bit of em.
They should all give some support here, which they hardly have right now, n we dont care about warranty, when we bought a mobile, we will screw it, so to hell with warranty..we just got used to it due to lack of support from major organizations.

HTC makes cheap phone look expensive and charge user for premium.

HTC co-branded with stupid Beats Electronic who knows nothing about making a great headphone/earphone.
