Single core is for WP7.8 for low end phones. Lumia 610 with 256MB of RAM looks faster than my Galaxy S2. How about go look at some youtube videos? iOS and WP don't suffer from lag overtime. Android phones get slower and slower overtime. Android is also the most buggiest OS that I have used.

Is it Scorpion(based on Cortex A8) or Snapdragon(Qualcomm's product line)?
Base on my sources,MSM7227A is based on Cortex A5...
Another question,
Is it true that it's memory is not expandable?But Lumia 510,w/c is almost the same w/ this phone got expandable nemory based on the leaked spec.
If this got SD expansion then it will be great but the WP7.8 os is such a disappointment...

Windows mobile is really scrapping the barrel here isnt it??? I thought they were going to be dominating by now??? Bringing in third rate phone makers is a bad sign that they are struggling to get a foot hold and need cheap, poorly built badlyselling smart phones to try and increase market share. smacks of desperation if you ask me

What your saying seems to happen ,I've used HTC One X.
That's what im seeing with it.User experience just Isn't as smooth as iOS or Windows.
It's very easy to find reviews describing android user experience as laggy. Yet WP reviews generally comment on how smooth the title system is. (on single core and less RAM as well)
They don't have the issues of trying to fix lag.
It isn't there from day one.
So with dual core and double the RAM, WP8 has a solid
base to start with.

I never understood why Alcatel called their line of handsets "One Touch" ever since the name appeared. Alcatel hadsets were no simpler to use than one-button-action Nokias at the time. Now it all makes sense, with the touchscreen and all.. Alcatel was just way ahead into the future with their product naming. Yet again good thing come to those who wait.

It can get very close to the smoothness of the dual core iPhone 4S with just a single core. Android has occasional lag. It's laggy in the Maps app and noticeable while installing apps compares to iOS and Windows Phone. If you think Android is buttery smooth, you obviously haven't used the latest iPhones and WP.
