Reviews of Iconia and ipad3 and so on confirms this, full HD and above really makes a difference.

Its also about todays standards, ipad3 did set a high standard and Nexus 10 pushes it up more. Im not comfortable with buying something expensive if its already outdated in some way. But if the price is right then why not.

Thankfully someone here confirm that Galaxy Tab 2 is getting JB, i guess we will look for the wifi only Tab 2 10.1. Maybe.

Anonymous, 08 Nov 2012iOS 6. Maps (half baked maping program.) Lol, just like Goo... moreyes apple have to develop before giving it to user and replacing more useful apps. i know there are no perfect program, but IOSmaps just too beta . . even alpha program.

s voice isnt made by google , and YES it is a useless piece of software.

at least the will use NFC in the near future, adn that means our phone are ready for it. so we dont have to wait another year just to have last year tech integrated.

google careberus for android, find my iphone's fungtion is really limited, pt it on airplane and youre done.

unless my OS is bloated, hmm yes, but at least i can still uninstall the bloatware, istead have to make a different folder to keep uneeded app

stfu, 08 Nov 2012stfu iOS fanboy. 4.1 came out 4 months ago. And you chose t... moreI cant imagine having any iOS devices, what a nightmare it must be to have to use a PC and special software to do simple things like copy files, and then maybe wait how many hours for video conversion just to have it fail and then start all over again, and not to mention that it will not run on any of my personal laptops as i threw out windows already in 2004 and used Debian Linux ever since. They even want me to run windows on my PC, or even worse, buy a overpriced 6ay looking mac?

However the lack of good Android tablets is what bothers me, the FUll HD Iconia is not really good and the Asus with Full HD had problems with hang and freeze in webbrowser (for the quadcore model, and the dualcore Krait model is nowhere to be seen) and then there are no more HD tabs to choose from. Ok, the Nexus 10 is good, but the lack of a memory card slot makes it a little Appleish, storage is too important for a Full HD entertainment device, look at the size of those files. Sony and Samsung should have made Full HD tablets long ago already, as it is now its almost as if Sony and Samsung are telling people to go get an ipad.

I didnt decide yet but its possible i buy Note 10.1 very soon, for my daughter, this JB update weight heavily in its favor. Now when it gets everything the Note 2 i know it will be good enough (i have a Note 2, truly a great phone in more than one way)

the ppi doesn't bother me at all, I mean if u watch HD movies or HD pictures and games they look the same compared to the iPad.

All in all it's a decent resolution on a great tablet.

More Siri integration (siri still in beta . . ) And S Voice isn't then?
Facebook integration (they shouldve done this since ios 1) I can tweet and post FB on my notification screen. Facebook was new when iOS 1 was released

Shared Photo Streams (just like any other cloud based storage) Yes, but integrated.
Passbook (limited and half baked (no NFC)) There's that half baked again. NFC is fringe technology, no-one uses it yet.
                      Improved email (fix) Lol.
faster browser (stil slower than crome) In which real world tests?
                      Panorama (really old)
Find my iPhone, Friends (useless) Weak argument. Finding a lot phone or seeing where your friends are (all integrated) is useless????
Siri improved. (but stil in beta, they just using user to get more data)
Improved integration all round. (yea right, integration, for example can attach picture direct from email app . . )

but still its just a minor improvement, and there is barely something new about it, and then not every iphone got it, just 4s and 5 will ge full feature pack os update, while on android if you got 4.0 youll get alll the feature that annouced.

Unless your OS is borked by Bloatware and Manufacturer UI.

Blankman, 08 Nov 2012Back that up with facts please.Lets take ICS, brought USB host capabilites to stock android (vendors like samsung had implemented them for quite a long time).
+ ALSA framework was brought to Android.
                            + A fully reworked UI.
+ Support for Wifi-Direct in stock android. (I remember my S2 having this on gingerbread).
+ Stock Android kernels came with a FUSE module. (Apple users might not get this. It's used to mount various filesystems. It allows me to connect an NTFS drive via USB OTG).
+ All stock apps were given a good tune up. Especially ones like browser and camera.

The actual commit list is pretty long. Check up AOSP for a precise list.

                            For JB
                            + Butter ;)
+ A new storage specification. Data and storage are on same partition.
+ a few extra stuff. Don't really remember.

I have not received Jelly Bean in my Samsung Galaxy S3 yet in India, very surprising. With now Jelly Bean rolling out for another Samsung Device I am really not happy to see. Why Samsung is intentionally making us wait. Galaxy S3 is one of the best device and so late to release for country like India where Samsung sold out a lots of this kind of devices.
