Huawei VP confirms Galaxy Note II competitor is in the works

there's a lot of factor to consider especially when you're gunning the Note 2. Its not just about the grip, or the battery life or the price (Note 2 is not that expensive), its the aesthetics. Brand is important too as it reflects product quality and how well your after-sales service might be because as of now I haven't see any Huawei service center anywhere I go. Plus you need to draw a line between a phablet and a tablet, as 6.1' is already too big. And then there's the software enhancements that is what sets Galaxy Note apart from the other smartphones.

For me Galaxy Note is exclusive niche' that only Samsung and its Note series can pull off, not LG Optimus Vu, and certainly not Huawei Mate.

    Huawei no sources so useless better go for 1ghz processor and quality software
