Anonymous, 13 Dec 2012How is giving an Android exclusive feature to Apple classed... moreMan don't take the wrong way i own an iphone 5 myself and i was waiting for the google maps app but my point is google could've launch the app since the appeareance of iphone 5 in september.Instead they waited(while Tim Cook appologized for their maps app) and they releasead the application when the time was right.I don't think that google had that much to loose from exiting the ios 6 deal.

Anonymous, 13 Dec 2012Apple replaced a perfectly good application with a beta one... moreThe guy you replied to seems to have a point. Did Google maps have much competition when it launched? I really don't know if they did. Either way, it was foolish for Apple to think they can compete with Google.

Its now NOT the best smartphone out....Damn that guys honest opinion.... Stupid samsung should only ever hire yes men....best way to grow is to believe your product is the best and that others have nothing to make you want to improve your own product right... ¬_¬ Point is All manufacturers believe other manufacturers have better things than they do.. Thats what drives competition. From iphone wannabe galaxy s1 to the iphone smacker galaxy s3 samsung have learnt and improved a hole heap and they wouldnt have done if they didnt have people who appreciated others on board. You cant be an inbred in business

Err Eclair you say e f g h i j.... why not mention something that happened 20 years ago instead. They've been free for ages so your point is weak. It was an added bonus of buying an adroid over an iphone for some and now that barrier is down but from here instead of it being a mutual gain some are spinning it like its googles loss like they gain nothing from this...behave

I agree - Google is too good to apple... If they would launch Nexus devices before iphone and ipad - apple would have much bigger losses.

Very smart move by google. They wait after the iphone 5 launch to launch their own product(nexus 4).After the nexus 10 official launch they decide cu make the app for ios 6.This is how the biggest corporations work.

Google makes its money through advertising and services.

There are millions of iPhone users in the world. Google want them to use their applications so that Google can then earn money from the advertising and services that appears in these apps.

iPhone is so important to Google that Google earns more money from iOS than they do from Android.
