This might help retain those remaining BB users, if they stick with their old BB messaging reliable services and not much change and sideload android apps.
Most ppl will stick with their brand as they already have paid apps and unwilling to move.

Competition to a wp8 or ios devices?? Well i dnt thnk so...blackberry now cannot b a rival to the wp and iphone...at least on d basis of the leaked specs n luks of d smartphones...wp is doing great with Lumias n their designs are much ahead of the BB..

This is a good news, the fellow Blackberry users have been waiting for this buttonless phone for ages , with more stable OS and improved graphics , this phone is very good.

rim has very overpriced services and phones and a lot of limitations and etc.. wp8 and apple and blackberry will be fighting while android and maybe meego in its new ( salifish os name ) might stay on the top ( even though it is very hard for jolla to make meego win with their limited availability but who knows! meego and android are the most open and capable oses ever!

I think this phone will be sold millions because the old Blackberry users will return back because of the innovations and I also think the applications will have much better UI because of the new graphics system.
