I have had an OPPO BluRay dvd player for 4 years and it is first class. At the time, it was the best consumer dvd player on the market. They make high quality products and have great customer service in San Francisco. It appears it will work on T-Mobile so when my Version contract expires in September, I will be using an OPPO phone on T-Mobile. I can hardly wait.

What about African countries, more specifically, South Africa...??? this device would put a dent in Samsung's sales in South Africa (just my opinion)

So how does sony's screen become the best in the market when it doesn't fullfill all the requirements of a gud screen(high reflectivity,poor viewing angles).doesn't matter if these are or aren't important to u,but the best screen should be great in all the departments isn't it?there are better displays in the market namely LG's True HD IPS LCD,and S LCD which was a joint venture of samsung n sony but now is fully owned by samsung after sony sold all it's shares.

AnonD-84053, 26 Dec 2012Lol xperia S was a high end phoneXperia s was Sonys high end but it used an old CPU n gpu, my wife has one while I bought the one x and I can honestly say xperia s is a mid range with a 720p screen, its not smooth and does lag, the CPU and gpu was used on the HTC sensation over a year earlier

Oh yeah. Oppo will Find its way to Malaysia. Pricey though and I will buy one only if it is inexpensive. The 32GB is also a good option. Way to go Oppo.

Back when I bought my Motorola Atrix, but then I got a SE Xperia Pro to my wife and realize that Sony's interface was more fluid, polished and the phone booted in 30-40 seconds while mine took 2+ minutes after having many apps...
The only thing making my wife think about selling her Xperia Pro is the paultry 512 MB of RAM and 300MB of accessible internal memory, which are to low and from time to time makes the phone slow, and don't allow to install many apps even if they are in the external memory. (they need a shortcut in the internal memory)
SO, no, I do not agree with you now, cause I think Sony actually optimize their custom interface pretty well, even if its not the most productive or best looking...
Also Sony might be late in some technologies but they have been innovating in other areas... Their water resistant phones are the only ones capable of being use underwater, unlike Motorola's or Samsung's that when the screen is wet, it is rendered useless... Sony has a wet tracking technology in some phones...
I am looking to buy a Acro S soon, even if the Snapdragon inside is old...
Later on, if Asus release an US version of the PadFone 2, I might get that one and give the Acro S to my wife...

Do you look at the front or side of the phone, and if you always look the side of the phone than you are STUPID!!!
