Some people have that wrong perception that these units will not work without an S Pen? They stylus compliments the unit when you want to use it with the extra features.

I dont think so that this rumor will be corrrect and the major thing is screen issue and samsung knows that 5" display is lead by its note series thats why they will not use a 5" display for S4 which will be their main phone stand i hope they will take smart decisions

I think 5" is a little too far but the inclusion of s pen sound good and the 1080p display is gonna give apple a run for its money

"There is nothing wrong with getting something less, if you are into the late 90s for 2G phones. For example, iPhone users find the iPhone 5 something they need - 4" screen with an extra row of icons, mono audio recording for the videos, the same icon layout since 2007, no direct file transfers (wired or wireless), love iTunes to manage content, they're fine with plugging in most of the time or running out of battery because it's fixed, doesn't matter with the metal surface gets scratched or love just buying casings, can't do anything with the icon configuration, and would gladly pay for contents all the time."

My SGS3 fall into the hard granite floor tiles at Al Midra Tower. Miraculously it survived though a punched is noticeable in the bottom left of the metal frame.

Some small scratches is also noticeable on four sides of the curve edges. That was truly a drop test from behind my jacket' pocket.

Luckily it still functions well it just proved it's worth money of my 500+ USD.

Mobilemaster, 30 Dec 2012Hi! I had a Nokia N73 Music Edition, and I needed a paper ... moreI sometimes still use my Nokia N85, becoz it has FM transmitter, but the plastic is constantly breaking down no matter how careful i am, the shutter button is almost falling out already and has to be used very carefully. Further the auto focus is broken and OFCORS IT HAS A PAPER BEHIND THE BATTERY so it will work. Nokia are really the lowest quality among the established brands, ans statistics from my carrier show that their service is slower than Sony and Samsung, where Sony managed to return 93% of phones within 6 days Nokia barely made it to 60%.

How about lumia 920, how will we put a paper behind the battery so it will work also a year from now?

I said it again and let me it samsung sales will go down next year. and HTC and iPhone will be hard to beat. and LG and Motorola will get the recognition as well.. S4 its a let down not many people will like to use S pen. in the world of HTC we are done with stylus so samsung thought they will be unique with S Pen... HTC M.series will bring calamitous destruction in 2013. And for now best phones in the world HTC Droid DNA and HTC Butterfly And My HTC One X+.. Rise HTC Rise

At least a 4" and 4.3" the most. Considering a phone, it's no need to be bigger. Personally I prefer the 4" and a 4:3 AR.

What fascinates me is that mobiles went from being bricks, to being small and compact. Samsung are heading back to the brick sized phones. There is a threshold on how big a PHONE should be and eventually Ssmsung phone fans will end up walking down the road with a laptop case with their humongous Samsung phone inside it. They will either answer it with a Bluetooth headset or hold the phone with both hands, convinced that because the screen is big then their "phone" is the best.

Other sensible people will have a phone that fits nicely in their pocket and if they want something with a big screen then they can use a tablet/laptop/pc.

this is the note 3 as it has a 5" screen not S4

lumia 920 is the best phone on earth

Hence the reason of getting the Note II for its better handling. My "business" or work is architecture and teaching. I can say the Note has performed quite well, except for the short battrery life. I use Polaris for attendance, the S Note for idea generating and my lecture slides that I can doodle over.

I'm eyeing the wireless connectivity with a projector with the Note II and wireless HDMI dongle to mirror my screen content. I commute and I carry everything I need is in my small waist bag or just my pockets.
