I used to face the same problem then I visited xda forum and changed to custom kernel CoCore 4.4 and boom my phone started working like galaxy s2 efficiency....
Working very smooth and lag free and hang Free..

stock Jb is lil bit glitchy..
The bet way is to root the phone and change the kernel..cuz the stock kernel sucks..
Currently im using russian updated XXLQ4 stock JB and custom CoCore4.4 kernel and my s advance is working like galaxy S2 efficiency..
Everything working smooth and lag free for me since I switched to custom kernel.. its great..

No it cannot be done there as its not official for other countries. But believe me do it and you will never regret, I changed it to JellyMod and its awesome check the video.
