Kudos to Samsung for keeping those old flagship phones updated. Asus and Samsung have the best customer support (software-wise at least) of all Android device manufacturers.

samsung should really make sure that all this waiting is worth it for us note 1 users.it was promised that it would rolled out 1st quarter of 2013 but SII users got the update 1st. Please dont disappoint us samsung

Happy to see this news .. Really waiting to see this on my phone ..
But there is NO news on the "Multi-Window" feature .. If it is there, then every S2 user will appreciate it for sure !!
None the less .. Good Work Samsung !! .. keep it up !!

What was the talk about the update coming in february then?
This is good news of course, but the amount of confusion with these android updates, are limitless.
Happy to see this update and definetly buying samsung products in the future. Sony and HTC haven't been as nice with the firmware upgrading, so beware of those.
