I think i will grab the Q10 because i like the keypad idea but I'll have to wait which is what i hate doing. Why the delay in the release of the Q10? Z10 and Q10 should have hit the market together. Blackberry is quite a helpful tool and i can imagine how handy these new toys will be. I can't wait.

PC, 31 Jan 2013Why do you think the Q10 should be half price of a Galaxy 3?The people (non BB loyalists) who can afford a Galaxy S3, will do so. BB QWERTY loyalists like me are few and far between and therefore not enough to sustain a business and further research.

In 2010, iPhone 4 cost 187 dollars for components (IHS iSuppli Market Intelligence), their tremendous markup is within right. Even BMW and Evian have Pricing Power, Blackberry does not;For now.

The only good thing about "new"(2 years in the making!) BB is the screen. PHONE LOOKS LIKE 10 YEAR OLD INEXPENSIVE DEVICE, COSTS LITTLE FORTUNE ($350 on 2 year plan with Fido Canada) and those huge USB cables bings back 80's Atari feeling...

If the Q10 doesn't retail between 200 to a max 300, then it is doomed I tell ya, DOOMED. The only people who can afford to buy it are the 50 yr old businessmen who don't want to learn some other new-fangled tech. That pool is too small, don't be posh BlackBerry, you are not Vertu.

Finally a powerful smartphone with a physical key pad. We are not all gamers that need a 5 inch display, with poor battery life. either. Blackberry, you won me back.

well i think the bb 10 , its awesome, i was waiting for it to be launched before deciding if to move over to an apple , well the main thing in south africa is price point , so if the new bb 10 doesnt feature its BIS and you need to use a data bolt on like any other android or ios phone , then maybe im just gonna move over to another type of manufacturer, will be sad though as ive had 3 blackberry's over the last 5 years.. gonna see in the next 2 weeks what im gonna upgrade to. well done blackberry on the release on the new 2 handsets...

Never had BB before and still lobing my N9, but I think this is finally a good new device, that brings cool tricks under its sleeve: the swiping gesture -borrowed from N9- is something the other OS really miss: doing everything without exit and enter applications is really a boost. Who has/had N9 know what I mean, it's something much better to use than competitors: once you get use to it other phone looks crap. I agree the bazel is too big. For the video call they showed it can menage it because there is a 2mp camera on front. BTW 2 Gig of ram on BB OS means a really smooth experience, I bet better than any droids (that I owned, but always bugs)
