my htc 7 mozart successfully updated to 7.8...of course by forcing trick that u can learn from this website..

i think this should work with all older windows phones...give it a try...it's worth it

Also on my own I can confirm since my Titan is now smoothly running 7.8 :D. Real top draw that microsoft have done this. Feels like i've got a new phone :)

For USA, you must force the update by disconnecting from the internet while checking for update. You might have to update 2-3 times depending on how lucky you are.

For those who cant wait or have been waiting too long already... enjoy
Zune showed that my Phone was up to date and would not find any new updates so i Tried the cable trick(in other words connected to zune via usb cable), go to PHONE, then SETTINGS, then choose UPDATE. when it starts checking for an update in Zune software, after 10 seconds i disconnected my computer from the internet and presto, Zune found an update.(btw also i turned my phones wifi off) reconnect to the internet and push the update button.
(you will have to repeat this process twice as there are 2 updates, so after the first update you will still have version 7.5 only after the second update is installed you will have 7.8.
If no luck try a few times counting from 3-10 seconds (for me it worked after 10 seconds, my 5th attempt)
Success! Zune tells me an update is found. Connect your PC/laptop to the internet again and download the update.
