HTC... immersing yourself into the stupid trend of tiny non-removable batteries, low internal memory and no microSD expansion is killing you. Nobody wants to pay a considerable amount for a phone and be plagued by serious and unnecessary hardware limitations.

Quality aside (not many will keep using a handset for 6+ years), they lacked in processing power because of the resource hungry yet beautiful Sense. HTC also forgot to include microSD card slots on all flagship devices (till Butterfly). Then there's the price. Many aware consumer chose Samsung over HTC after doing some research.

I Owned S710, HD2. I think that I shifted to others due to:
            1: Poor battery life
2: Poor quality of display after some time

HTC makes beautiful devices but because there is no removable battery and physical action button some people likes to buy Samsung and iPhone

I have a 5 years old HTC Touch Cruise. I am still waiting for a decent WP8 LTE phone from HTC to come up with. No LTE? No deal.

AnonD-92559, 04 Feb 2013But they have better performance. anddddddd higher price HTC better performance than what? One X and One X+ has browsing performance on the level of Galaxy Pocket, they are not even stuttering, since they more hang and freeze. Tegra chipsets are useless for normal use, exceptionally slow, see how smooth dual core phones are for webbrowsing, and how the quad tegras always hang: Ok in benchmark but in real lifer usage the 4 cores are always sleeping and you get stuck with the 5th low power core most of the time. For sure my daughters singlecore Cortex A5 at 800 MHz is much smoother at webbrowsing than One X+.

And you want to compare performance with Galaxy S3 and so on? In your dreams maybe.

And higher than Samsung price for the equivalent model

Yes HTC definitely should expect low revenue, their One X (32GB) supply in Pakistan is disappointing....

Oh an please dont be trapped by the big big and yet bigger phones. Have 1or 2 but in my personal opinion there are a lot of business people and others that dont want ping pong bats in their pants. Savvy, sexy and smart and something for everyone in a modest quietly brilliant range.

I read GSM everyday and whilstthere are pro and cons to just about everything. I dont want to go over the things HTC could improve on, im sure they have read enough and all makers have things to improve so i just want to say that being new to HTC and after watching, touching , feeling all mannner of phones that the new breed proffered by the One series at least is heading in the right direction. i went at lengths to get the HTC One S with the 1.5 krait and not the overclocked 1.7. Its nice.. actually its great. Keep focused, keep the build going, no need to change the wheel, but listen to your fans and critics and i think you'll do very well. Look FWD to reading / seeing what you have in the M7 then cool it. reduce number of devices but when you do release give it the wow.

HTC is a good company but nowadays people opt for Samsung just because they have a bigger display but the truth is HTCs phones are the best in performance if you can't believe you can check benchmarks of HTC devices and lot of people think HTC is a small company.
