There might be a choice between Qualcomm or Exynos CPU depending on the market's LTE availability.

LOL. Must we always have the Samsung vs Apple arguments? Anyway, I'm really looking forward to the Galaxy SIV. I used the Galaxy S, SII and the SIII before switching over to the iPhone 5. The Galaxy SII was wonderful and after a year of use, it was still fluid and very responsive. But on the other hand, I must say that I was really disappointed with the performance of the Galaxy SIII after using it for about 5 months. It became very laggy and was really frustrating to use. I've been using the iPhone 5 for about 6 weeks now and it's a joy to have.
My two elder brothers use the Galaxy Note II and I think Samsung got a lot right with that device.
I just hope that the SIV is nothing like the SIII and more like the SII.
I love both Samsung and Apple, Android and iOS. I still don't get why people fight about them really.

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2013-02-28 10:04 from 6tRw - click to readEvey design is a beta.

Exynos 4210 was a beta. But it performed brilliantly on the Galaxy S2. The 44 series made the S3 one of the best devices around.

The Exynos 5 is a proven chipset (Nexus 10,Chromebooks). The A-15s work very well. The quad A7 structure is also well tested by ARM and several OEM's like Mediatek and Allwinner.

The Octa will be one of the most polished designs Samsung has brought to the market. I dont see how sammy can mess it up. Not really a beta in my eyes.

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2013-02-28 10:04 from 6tRw - click to readThe double quad seems like it should actually work fine. Every new feature you get is technically beta in that sense. Faster cpu's and gpu's, 720p and then 1080p screens and what not. And looks are opinion , but you comment makes no sense. You are illogically and falsely bashing for their looks. Polycarbonate is a very strong and good quality plastic. So weather it's your preference or not it is premium and plastic has many advantages. And....Tired of needing case for Samsung??????????????????? All phones need protection....Pointless illogical bash

Well for me, i'd rather have a dual core with 2GHZ or more (hopefully this happens) than quad or octa core. Actually i don't need more cores, i just a faster processor with at least 1-2GB of RAM :)

Tested Sony XZ.. it still have bad touch response. I thought its all fix with fast cpu/gpu.. but no.

Expect no difference with S4. Sorry but after using iDevices, everything in android is laggy and choppy.. fast yes .. but not smooth at all.. insulting to look at.

I do not trust this OCTA thing. I feel the first introduction of the OCTA will be a kind of experimental thing. Samsung should experiment wit TIZEN, not Android. I do not want to pay $600 for a phone and get unpleasant surprise.

BTW: If Samsung does not introduce a sturdier frame with metal, scratch free siding and a real good material for the back cover, I am not buying Samsung any more, no matter what kind of specs are on the phone. I am sick and tired of protective cases for my Samsung phones. Enough is enough! Thera are other good phones out there.
