Acer is working on a quad-core Liquid S phablet

01 March, 2013
The Liquid S will be Acer's phablet, but this may mean any phone with a 4.7-inch screen or bigger.

AnonD-80584, 01 Mar 2013i dont agree with that... samsung ativ S has a 4.8 inch scr... moreI give you one for that:)). I always laugh when i see people with gs note hanging on their head. It is just ridiculous:)). Something more ugly looking and disgusting then that (wait to see the pink ones) are just those crappy bling bling's who appear expensive but are made from crap (not that those made from titan or gold are being any better). And when you see some "fatties" with a huge pink crap bleah: Just ugly and bad taste. Just like wearing boots with a red striped suit:))).

I'm so looking forward to these 5.5" and above phablets. I say the bigger, the better, web browsing, gaming and video playback all require nice big screens, so big screens are the future and I am all for it.

i dont agree with that... samsung ativ S has a 4.8 inch screen and thats a phone, not a "phablet"
... this phone game is getting ridiculous... none of these phones fit in your pocket, none of them can be comforatbly used with one hand, and all of them eat battery alive.

a phablet is neither a good portable device, nor a large enough tablet.,.. and not to mention that you look like a complete FOOL with a 5inch screen against your ear.

4,7" is a phone size not a phablet.
