Do not dial *#0000#, as this shows only OS Updates. Just Go to Menu and tap on Software update, it will show only "Gallery and Camera Update", Moreover, there was no noticeable difference after the update.

If OS is the only consideration, this means that all phones, no matter what brands they are, are dead within 2-3 years time. This is facts not an interpretation.
Look at Galaxy S1 i9000 it is dead forever now in Gingerbread. So do the Sonny Xperia X10, Arc, HTC Desire, Desire HD, Sensation, Motto Droid, iphone 3GS, iphone 4, Samsung Wave I, Wave II, Wave III, Blackberry 9700, 9780, 9790, 9930, 9900 etc etc... These phones and many other phones in the world are all dead now, because they won't get updates to Jelly bean, Key Lime Pie, iOS6, or New Bada OS, or BBX OSes forever.
In nowdays smartphones competion people must buy brand new phones every 3 months, 6 months, every year or at least two years to stay updates with the OSes. This is what the OEMes want us to do.
So Once again, don't let me be misunderstood, in nowdays smartphones race and in terms of OS updates, all phones are already dead within 2-3 years, unless we buy a brand new one or satisfy with what we already got.

I purchase Lumia 820 last week and had to sell it yesterday after 7 days of suffering.
I always regret my decision of buying a windows phone.
1. Could not play my movie collections (most of the formats are .mkv), Windows phone support very limited video format.
2. Could not reply my client's mail attaching a reference documents in the reply/forward mail.
3. Could not download files from internet (except mp3 and few other video format which your phone can play, alas Windows phone support very limited video format)
4. You cannot find the files in your phone (if it cannot be opened by the phone), because there is no file manager. E.g. you cannot find a .doc (MSOffice 2007) file because it supports MSOffice 2010 files only.
5. Could not even edit my documents saved in MSOffice 2007 format.
6. There was no torrent application that downloads files to my phone.
7. Used to automatically shut down. In my case at least 10-12 times in 7 days.
8. Most of the good games or applications are on paid basis. Free things are useless.
There was so many other suffering.
I had to buyback it with Samsung Android Phone bearing 10000 INR loss.
Buy Windows Phone at you own risk >>>>>>>>>>>>

there is an update for nokai 603 too. Already received yesterday over the air update for about 2mb size. But the update is for camera and galery.. Love symbian so much.
