I am a Nokia Fan but I do not hate other brands. With what is happening these days, I am starting to dislike some brands because of the repetition of the same thing over and over.

Actually, 5' inch display is not good for me. It kills the concept of a MOBILE PHONE. Why don't buy a note instead?

    And again cheap plastic, nicely done Samsung!

          8125 on quadrant?! now i seripusly doubt that is the s4! plus the xperia's screen looks better than the so called s4 ...i wish i cud read chinese

            I think whats going to be new is the features this phone will have. S3 won't have it, because Samsung wants you to switch to the new phone, as for apple, your older phone will also have no features.

            That's what you call customer satisfaction.

            Haters will say. "THEY ARE ALL THE SAME"

            Smart consumer will say, "features are available for previous generation phones? nice!"

              s4 wil be a flop smartphone
              sony xperia z is better than s4
              wireless charging doesnt mean ur fone is superior but design matters alot
              i wont spend rs. 44-45000 (us $ 750-800) on a phone whose back cover is made of plastic

It's what Samsung does, and they are willing to do with with the cost of going to court because court cases usually take a year, so by the time you are able to get the phone off the market, that phone is no longer popular.

                  The difference for apple is that they already have a wireless charging technology patent since 2008.

                    I thought they will make some changes with their design but I guess I was wrong if this would be the design. The S4 is just an advanced version of S3..

                    On the other hand, the wireless charging pad reminds me of Nokia Lumia 920's wireless charging pad. If my information is correct, Samsung have just copied Nokia's Wireless Charging. Correct me if I am wrong.

                            ln, 14 Mar 2013barely better looking than galaxy s3,therefore still ugly actually the S3 has a mush better design and a better looking i was waiting eagerly for the siv but now i will goo for the xperia z , zl , G pro or htc one

                              Personally the SGS4 looks a lot nicer than the S3... i really like the carbon looking front... not sure about the durability of the sides but i don't normally take a knife to my phone, i prefer the look of the sides.

                              At 1mm wider and 1mm thinner the size is great.

                              Battery life should be even better with a 25% bigger battery and big.LITTLE

                              Performance should equal anything available.

                              Personally Samsung should get 32GB and 64GB phones out a lot quicker.

                              This is probably not as big a jump as the S3 was but there comes a point where technology advances slow. This phone is probably equal too or better than the G pro.

                                The only good think I can see in it is the use of pen tile display, finally a smart use of pen tile displays. It has 8 instead of 12 sub pixels so what Samsung calls (criminally IMO) a 1080p display actually creates the sharpness of a 720p display (which is what is should had been called). Which is IDEAL. 720p displays in that small screens are almost identical to 1080p in perceived sharpness with the added bonus of lower power consumption AND less GPU demands. So yeah this would probably be the best screen in the market....


                                With Samsung's insistence on big ugly bezels I then I'm only left with xperia ZL, if zl had no washed out colors I would had already preordered (given that s4 offers nothing of importance apart from the screen)

                                  Every time a new GALAXY S SERIES phone is launched THE SHAPE design changes from the previos S series we can see the past--
                                  GALAXY S I (means only S)
                                  GALAXY S II
                                  GALAXY S III

                                  NOW WE CAN SEE AFTER 5 HOURS FROM NOW ONN......

                                    The wireless charging pad reminds of Nokia Lumia 920's wireless charging pad. If my knowledge is correct, then that is a copy of Nokia's wireless charging. Correct me If I am wrong...

                                    Otherwise, I do not like the design. When I first saw this design on the internet http://cloudfront2.bostinno.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/09/SamsungGalaxyS4Video.jpg I was hoping that Galaxy S4 will be an awesome phone but by the looks of the design GSMArena had posted, I don't like it.
                                    It is a disappointing thing Samsung if it is the same design..
