18 March, 2013
The new Xperia L has a knack for picture taking and an illumination effects LED for some extra character.

I think there is no Mobile Bravia Engine for Xperia L. This one looks more like upgraded last year Xperia J and it also doesn't have Mobile Bravia Engine.

But Mobile Bravia Engine is not really a big deal, this software created by Sony to make photos and videos showing more vivid and deep colors (which is can be fooling sometimes). For some people the colors become not natural and when you transfer into another device the photos and videos become more washed out. This feature for me is more like self pleasure. Thats why Sony also give you some options to turn on or off Mobile Bravia Engine in settings (in case you want to see the original colors from your photos and videos). CMIIW.

Man, imagine this in a QWERTY. It would dominate.

> In reply to not4me @ 2013-03-18 17:05 from JA8g - click to readLive with walkman was considered mid-ranged and guess what?!Was better than all mid-range competitors at the time and maybe better then others that came before. Cheapier and more powerfull than samsung Young, LG Optimus One. In mid and low-range field SONY and former Ericsson are the best...

This is a mid rage phone and is not meant to be compared with S3 or S4 or Xperia Z. This is meant for people who don't want the most spankiest of the phones in market as they don't have money for that. So please STOP comparing this to the flagships.

Personally, I think this is the best in class. The phones that needs to compare to this are mid range dual cores and not high capacity flagships. So, PLEASE READ WHAT THIS PHONE IS MEANT FOR.

Sony Xperia phones are too expensive. With same specs Samsung cost -33% and Huawei -50%.
