Secondly its not apple or "samsung" super perfect modifying it. Its ios being a system wide restricted locked os that does nothing but launch apps. Learn some facts

you see, that's the thing about technology. it will keep advancing whether you like it or not. move on. some of us do like to do everything mobile you know, and doing it on a laptop is too much of a hassle.

AnonD-3398, 03 Apr 2013dont understand why they are focusing on more and more core... moreGive it to apple and they would underclock it.. keep it small and lower battery consumption, while providing enough processing power to do anything mobile.

Give it to samsung and they would overclock it.. keep it big and increase battery consumption at the expense of a larger battery to make sure it can handle anything android.

Its up to how the company might use it, all the gain for consumers.

dont understand why they are focusing on more and more cores and gigahertz.. we dont edit videos, music on phones.. we need a simple smartphone, with good web browser, not so hardcore gaming and a good battery backup.. its just a rage going in between manufacturers.. no improvement on software.. google started this trend..

maybe some hardcore gamer need it for HD game

The processing power will increase while battery consumption will be the same or even less power consuming than the present Cortex-a15.

too bad no one can come up with an energy efficient screen, since the screen uses more than half the battery power. i had my phone on lowest screen brightness all day and it says it used 55% of the battery.

look at the article it is not only 3x the power of a15, but i can match the performance of A15 "with 5x less power"
