Gabe, 23 Apr 2013I had the same performance problem after upgrading to Jelly... moremay i ask sir form were are you from...coz im planning to update my lg 4x OS..reading all the comments..i think JB it not that good, after all the bad issue i have read updating LG 4x ICS to JB..im from philippines...

I also used to get INSUFFICIENT STORAGE error earlier while updating to JB in India. I took the backup data n factory reset the phone n tried updating but failed. I den jst changed my pc(earlier pc had 2gb of internal memory left) n updated from the new pc (wch had 100gb memory left) n it updated.. The process went on smoothly without any hiccups. JB is jst extended ICS in itself with some neat features bt after the update it hangs a lot and crashes some times. Camera has become better n touch is awesome. Editing images in contacts crashes. Games lag a lot now and hope LG fixes all those issues ASAP.

I got the update in the UK via LG software. It stalled during download, but eventually displays a message to continue. You have to be patient, and it is worth the wait. Cool new look and no problems so far

The problem is that the computer had only 1.9GB out of 150GB available and LG PC Suite could not start the update download. I hope that can fix your problem. Cheers.

I updated to JB India n it works smoothly...Only problem is the lagginess in some games and jerkiness in some. The contacts editing has got some problem and the phone cant multitask as it previously used to and crashes a lot sometimes. Touch has become more responsive as ever

I had the same performance problem after upgrading to Jelly Bean, opening or shifting between apps was so laggy, it felt like and strong downgrade, before the update to JB it hadn't any problem at all.
So, I did a Factory Reset as some of you recommended and the phone it's back to normal, fast as the beginning, I re-downloaded my apps (Didn't restore my back up). It performs perfectly with the best of JB!.

Try to update but keep getting insufficient storage space.. My internal storage is 5G free while SD is 200MB free,is it not enough?? Anybody have an idea? Thank you...

I did a factory data reset and everything seems to be back to normal. Not sure yet if the battery performance was affected at all.

jay, 18 Apr 2013Hi how did u update ur phone using?I tried OTA at first but then it notified me that i need to plug it to a computer and use the pc suite. So i did. I actually tried to update it twice because the first one failed. I don't know why.
Phone was noticeably slow after the udate. But after a FACTORY DATA RESET, phone seems to be back to normal speed. But im not sure if it has affected my battery's performance as some have cited on their phones.

I live in indonesia i just update my o4x to jb last week ago...it's add some improve like google now,more expandable notification,saying capture in camera,many chat skin in massengging,a lot of font type,a file maneger app,and long press the home we can one touch to clear history app that running in background and task maneger.....this only i know right now maybe it's have other improve.....@_*
