Two reasons I refuse to buy Apple products - their sometimes ridiculous "lawsuits" and their restrictive practices. Of my 100's of movies and 1,000's of music tracks, how many play on my wife's iPod or iPad? Zero. 95% of my movies and ALL my music play on my tablet (Playbook) and my mobiles (Nexus 4 and GSII). Am I prepared to CONVERT everything just to own an Apple product? Er, no. Apple seem to be using the courts to slow down their rivals but just end up losing ground themselves. Most of their suits are nonsense. And why a new connector instead of usb? That's right, couldn't charge for adaptors. If you choose to fight everyone, be prepared for the occasional 'bloody nose'.

Anonymous, 07 Apr 2013Hear songs only from iTunes? Lol. Oh, and Apple don'... morewhat i meant was in the scenario of the elimination of memory cards.please understand what i said..i know apple doesn't provide an internet connection.,but can you download songs with any other software than iTunes.?whether they provide or not ,doesn't it mean you have to pay for the data downloaded?when memory cards become obsolete you may have to rely on internal memory. you yourself suggested that cloud storage will eliminate them.i don't think the cloud usage is free.may be for you.when you use cloud for all the storage needs,do you think your 2Gb plan will suffice you? As for the benefit derived by Apple from the ISPs,don't you think some arrangement of payment is possible between them and Apple?Like some dollars for every Iphone dataplan taken up by the customer, who will have to take up up huge download limits for their cloud storage.?That's what i was saying.Think with a clear head and you will understand. As for me I was using an iPhone 4 but has switched to a galaxy S3.So don't think i am bluffing.

But none of the things seems to be a problem for the people buying iPhones, assuming for the sake of the argument that anything you said applies to iPhones.

They pretty much buy them as fast as Apple can have them made, and they're happy with using them. So happy, in fact, that Apple has an unprecedented customer satisfaction and retention.

And I'm not the one being a fanatic here. Pro tip: my work phone is an Android and my personal phone is a WP.

Don't be a Fanatic. Please understand what is said and then comment.Apple may be a big company but these days their ethical standards has become too low for a business firm. That's why.

Oh, and Apple don't provide a network connection. That'll be down to the likes of AT&T, TMobile and the actual Network OPERATORS, so I don't see how Apple benefits from more expensive data charges.

I use wifi and 2gb of data, which is more than enough for my needs. I don't think you know what you are talking about.

I love how fandroids rage on about Apple and how iOS has no innovations when a few years ago they were probably gushing over Symbian.

When it comes to quality and customer satisfaction, you need more than some nearly useless new "features"

The Cloud will soon invalidate one of the last big arguments fandroids have against the iPhone when memory cards are made obsolete.
