haha this forum thread is pathetic!! People need to take their tinted glasses off and see products for what they really are and not just who they are made by! Apple products lag instantly a newer version is released and need to see their tech is falling behind everyone else. Samsung need to modify their designs and listen to customers advice. Fanboys need to get a life or at least look outside of their own little world.

Man ! Ipad has far more better applications in quantity as well as quality... And its far more smoother than android... I have galaxy nexus with 4.2.2 jelly bean and iphone 5 ... The smoothness and quality of flipboard , facebook app , and similar apps is obvious on iphone 5... Believe it or not ... I dont f***king care .. Lol !

Worst samsung creation since galaxy tab the first ... Thousand times better is the ipad mini .... Make it at 250$ .. Then it will compete with ipad mini... I Bet its gonna fail otherwise..

Android is power hungry for a good reason. Especially on the Note series. It gives you what we like to call, computer-like multitasking. Something that iphones and ipads owner can only dream of. You know, it's when you can open apps on multiple windows (and not just two windows) running at the same time. Hence, making this android device so good, productivity wise. To understand this feature, i suggest you to watch a youtube video with the title of "Must watch: Galaxy Note II replaces the pc" by coldfustion. It's a video that shows the true power of the Note series (and this Note 8.0 has the exact same raw power with the Note II in the video). And after that you can tell me if your awesome ipad mini has the capability to do something even remotely close to what is shown in that video.

As in you're ignoring the much better processor, the much bigger RAM, the sharper display, the Wacom digitizer and Stylus with all their special and exclusive features, and saying that it only has 4G (when in the specs sheet, it clearly says LTE) and assuming it has worse build quality than the ipad mini (though might be true, but come on, the device isn't even out yet).
If that's not ignorance, I don't know what is.
