Finally, one step closer to the banishment of the ridiculous 800x480 instead of 854x480 resolution...

its only 0.7" away from nexus7 tablet size!

it'd be a phone and ear shield too! cuz it hides the half of ur head when held for a call!

Anonymous, 11 Apr 2013Lol when I bought 4.3 inch galaxy s2 they said its a tv, it... moreI totally agree with u, when i first time saw the SII i was WOW a portable TV not a cellphone as the display seemed so HUGE compared to my phone , and phones back in the days, but now that I have Xperia S, if feels tiny compare it to Xperia Z, S IV or even SIII and not to mention note II... just dayum! cuz phones are getting bigger but we still have the same size! lol

I have never seen such desperate marketing. Honestly, this is going too far. Very soon Samsung addicts will realise they are being taken for a ride. This company is killing innovation.

                        Just want to say

                        Update:
Samsung has confirmed to Ubergizmo that the Galaxy Mega is powered by a
“dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor”. While the exact model isn’t
known, I think that it is probably a Snapdragon S400 chip, since it came
out recently, and would fit the overall hardware specs of this
smartphone which was designed to offer a lot of real-estate, without
becoming a leading-edge device from a specifications standpoint.
Performance-wise, it should lag smartphones equipped with the faster
Qualcomm S600 processor, which is itself slower than Samsungf’s own
                        Exynos Octa 5.

You're absolutely right. They do this on any electronic goods. Oldest monitors used to have glossy screens in their nature because they were glass. Then they made anti-reflect matte screens and sold it as a plus. "No reflections" A short while after they put forward the piano black thing with again a mirror like screen. What happened to the so important anti-reflect thing. They're just looping the same specs over and over again for the companies' sustainable growth.

justme, 12 Apr 2013The Galaxy Mega 6.3 looks absolutely GORGEOUS !!! The textu... moreMy friend, the dualcore processor inside the 6.3 is the exact same as the one that ticks inside the Nexus 10 with it's 2K res display, it's Exynos 5250 Dual-core 1.7 GHz Cortex-A15. And the same also goes to it's GPU, it's Mali-T604. While the screen res of the Mega is 'only' HD res (since it's in the midrange category). This is something that Samsung or any other manufacturer has never done before, putting the CPU and GPU of a full blown 2K res tablet inside a phone (well, a phablet). Hence, making the Mega 6.3 one of the most powerful smartphones today. And it's definately more powerful than even the Note II with it's A9 quadcore. It's GPU might even be more powerful than the mighty S4 itself.
