If it ain't broken there's no point fixing it. Windows attempted it with their sham of a new OS (windows 8) and nobody worth their salt touches it with a dirty stick...

Another wanna be iPhone. When can someone develop a real OS that is different from iOS style?
WP7.5 or WP8 looks very refreshing in terms of interface and OS layout.
Anyway, I will still give this a shot for the sake of OS experience. I live in the world of many OS eg., Symbian, WP, Android, iOS, BB7.1, MeeGo.
I hope Sailfish will relive MeeGo.

I had no idea these phones were so close to release. All the demo videos so far have shown them freezing, glitching and just generally running poorly. If they've ironed out all those initial problems they were showing, good for them, if not, any early adopters are in for a bumpy ride.

its too costly to be called a cheap smart phone people still consider android more. even 91euro is too much for 3rd world contries. still its a good choice. hope it should have multitasking

First, it was iOS with these numerous icons on a 'home screen' with 4 icons at the bottom. Android has the same. And now this Firefox OS has that too, not to mention Sailfish and Tizen which are also look similar.
Looks like Windows Phone is the only one that puts the game at a different prospect with its Live Tiles - differentiation. This is why WP stands out of the crowd and deserves much more than the others, particularly Android.

This is gona b the best and smoothest os with low power drainage. It is designed from the mistake of all other OS. Most of the guyz devoloping this firefox os knw the cons and pros of other os very well. Its really gona b amazin!!!

it looks just like iOS. hell, i have a theme on my iphone right now having circled icons instead of squared/regular ones... im going to change the theme right now lol.

this os is already available to boot in SGS2.
may be all the android users can use this os in their android device if devs are interested on it.

I hope the community will pick them up and set a way of multibooting, with Android and Ubuntu Touch being available options. The hardware on the Peak is a steal for that price.

Why copy the iphone user interface? Why copy an interface that looks old now and will be completely redesigned in iphone 6 (if not already in the 5s)?

That would be because THE OS HASN'T BE RELEASED TO THE PUBLIC! How would there even be third party apps or anything if the SDK hasn't even been release. You honestly sound like a 8 year old with that comment.
