You have just killed the purpose of a "Mobile Phone" just by that stupid comment. If there would be no mic then what is the point of a "portable" phone? What is the point of recording sounds and videos? By your logic, you must be still living in those ages when telephones weren't invented. Why are you even here if I may ask? Your comment shows much ignorant you are..

" i think everyone is waiting for nokia to copy android"
Copy Android? Does adopting an OS for your brand means to copy it? By your logic, you mean Samsung, Sony, HTC, LG, Motorolla and any other brand who used Android just copied Android right?
That is called adopting my friend but you are too much ignorant to understand it, aren't you?

AnonD-122895, 23 Apr 2013I don't understand people protecting Nokia in this case. If... more"This is not a patent lawsuit, this is an industrial theft executed by HTC. There is a difference. This (HAAC mics) is 100% Nokia's technology, exclusive that is, and there is no reason in this world why they should license it to the likes of HTC or others."

HTC is heavily at fault here especially the engineers for not reviewing the tech inside the phone. Funny thing is that they posted it into their blog and claimed that it's their own innovation. lol

                http://blog.htc.com/2013/03/htc-one-distortion-free-recording/

I really hoped that Nokia will push this complaint, they worked hard for R&D and some rubbish company like HTC will just steal and claim it.

This is the same thing as Sony vs Microsoft with the processors in the PS3 and Xbox 360. Only in this case Nokia was smart enough to get the product they ordered and came up with the idea exlusivly. In the PS3 case Sony didn´t claim the rights all for them selves so Microsoft ordered the same chip for them and didn´t invest anything in the developement. and Sony paid the millions.
